State Officials Warn Against MEK

In a meeting with a group of Sharif University officials in Tehran, the Iranian regime’s president Ebrahim Raisi discussed the recent crackdown on this college and said: “The United States, the hypocrites (the regime’s term to slander the MEK) and other enemies of the country tried to pursue their anti-Iranian and anti-revolutionary goals inside Sharif University. We are sure that this university will not allow ill-wishers and the MEK to disrupt this place.”

Hossein Daghighi, the IRGC commander-in-chief’s advisor also said on October 5: “Since the middle of last year, the MEK had planned to create an army of thugs in Tehran and bring them to the field on a certain day and create a disaster that won’t be forgotten throughout Iran’s history. But one night before this action, a thousand evil people were identified and arrested by the police, the IRGC, and Intelligence.


Iran Protests Continued on Thursday

Today, October 6, marked the 21st day of the national uprising in Iran. Iranians continued protests and strikes. So far, nationwide demonstrations have been recorded in more than 170 cities all over the country. According to the MEK, in less than four weeks, 400 people have been martyred and 20,000 were arrested by the regime’s brutal security apparatus.

Live Report: Iran’s Uprising Endures as Regime Intensifies Crackdown Measures, Internet Disruptions

Wednesday marked the 20th day of anti-regime protests across Iran despite heavy security measures, repression, and internet restrictions.

These protests have expanded to 170 cities and all 31 provinces across the country. According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 400 civilians and arrested 20,000 others. On Wednesday, nightly protests were reported in several cities, including Tehran, Qom, Kermanshah, Talesh, and Nurabad (Fars province).

On the 20th Day of Iran’s Nationwide Uprising, Students Led the Protests

On October 5, the 20th day of the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people continued with protests and strikes. So far, nationwide uprisings have been recorded in more than 170 cities with 400 people killed and 20,000 arrests.

Yesterday, the protests were held especially by the country’s younger generation, mainly high school students. In several schools in Tehran, students protested and chanted: “Death to the dictator”. Students in Karaj protested and chanted: “I will kill whoever killed my sister,” “the imprisoned student must be freed,” and “death to the Basij.”

Kurdish Protester Foad Ghadimi Shot Dead by Security Forces

Foad Ghadimi was a 40-year-old father from Divandarreh in Kurdistan Province. Foad had two sons aged 16 and 9. Foad was one of the first victims of the crackdown on nationwide protests in reaction to Mahsa Amini’s killing.

Foad Ghadimi was killed by gunshots fired at him by the state security forces. Two bullets had hit him, one in the hand and another in his stomach.
