State-affiliated Cleric Admits to Regime’s Warmongering in Yemen

Mohammad Ali Qudspour, the Iranian regime Supreme Leader’s representative in Semnan, said during the Friday prayers: “A lot of work is being done. It is true that only 30% of Yemen’s soil is taken by the Ansarullah [also known as the Houthis], but 70% of the Yemeni population lives in that area.”

According to the local Semnan TV, he added: “If we succeed to conquer Maarib, where they already have captured 12 of the 14 cities, then I will kiss the hands of the fathers of the martyrs here. We will all kiss the hands of the fathers of the martyrs. If Maarib is conquered in Yemen today, it is because of the efforts and the result of the sacrifices that you, the fathers of the martyrs and the mothers of the martyrs actually had made.”

Thousands Join Isfahan’s Farmers in 12th Day of Protests Over Water Shortages

The farmers of Isfahan province held the twelfth consecutive day of strikes and protests on Friday, gathering at the dried basin of the Zayandeh Rud river. The latest round of protests began on November 8 with farmers gathering in front of the provincial water company and the regime’s state-run television. On November 9, the protesters transferred their rally to the river’s basin. Some farmers have set up tents in the area and are remaining at the protest scene day and night. The protests have been growing more intense and crowded in the past two weeks.
