State Officials Are Trying to Hinder Ceremonies for November 2019 Victims in Behbahan
In order to prevent the people from holding ceremonies on the second anniversary of the November 20190 uprising, state officials in Behbahan blocked the main road to the city’s cemetery.
The Public Relations office of the Behbahan Municipality and Islamic Council issued a statement and claimed that “the road to the new shrine of Behbahan is closed for infrastructure and construction operations until further notice”.
Previously, the victims’ families had publically called for a ceremony to be held on Tuesday to commemorate the fallen protestors and the regime has been trying to prevent such occasions to become a flashpoint for more unrest.
More Protests on Tuesday in Iran
Today, a large crowd gathered on the river bed of the Zayandehroud for the ninth consecutive day to protest against the destructive policies of the state that has led to the drying of this river. The protestors also said that the Ministry of Energy among other government institutions is squandering the farmers’ right to the water.
Despite the rain, angry farmers and citizens of Isfahan continued to stay overnight on the dry bed of the Zayandehroud on Tuesday.
Employees of the Petrotech Kish Global Drilling Company in Ahvaz held a rally on Tuesday. The demonstrators are protesting against the officials’ refusal to balance off 7 months of their salary and insurance.
Clients who fell victim to a scam by the Azerbaijan Automobile Industrial Company (AZIVICO) held a rally in front of the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade to claim their rights. Azivico Company has collaborated with the aforementioned ministry and other government agencies has taken the money of thousands of citizens but it has refused to deliver their cars with the excuse that the prices have changed due to the increased inflation.
Workers of electric power distribution companies, who were protesting against the Ministry of Energy’s insistence on holding an employment conversion test, announced at their rally today that the ministry is secretly undermining some of the workers’ status which will lead to a drop in their salaries.
Today, a group of workers at the Ilam Cement Company staged a protest rally in front of the company after the gas was cut off and production stopped.
Security Forces’ Preventing A Victim’s Mother to Visit Her Son’s Grave Triggers Public Anger
Today, as security forces prevented the mother of Ibrahim Katabdar, one of the martyrs of the November 2019 Uprising, to visit her son’s grave, bystanders and people present at the graveyard protested and chanted “Death to the dictator.”
1400 Students and 300 Teachers Infected With COVID-19 in Yazd, Central Iran
“The novel coronavirus infected over 1400 students in Yazd,” said Technical Deputy Dean of Yazd University of Medical Sciences on Tuesday, according to Iran’s state-TV (IRIB).
“PRC tests taken from the beginning of the academic year until the second week of November indicate that over 1400 students and 300 teachers have been infected with the coronavirus,” he said, adding that this number increases concerns over the rapid spread of the virus in schools.
The Iranian regime has forced children to attend in-person classes despite Iran’s high contracting and mortality rates.
Amnesty International Calls For Collecting Information on Victims of the November 2019 Massacre in Iran
On 16 November 2021, Amnesty International published some of these reported names in Persian on its Telegram, Instagram, and Twitter accounts, and invited anyone with information about them or other victims hitherto unknown to contact the organization. The selection of these reported names was based on the amount of information available online about the date, place, and circumstances of the alleged deaths, and/or the availability of pictures said to be depicting the reported victims and/or the gravesites where they were buried.

Protests in Iran
Last night, farmers accompanied by citizens of Isfahan spent the seventh night of their protest alongside the dried river bed of the Zayandehrood. According to environmental activists and locals, mismanagement and systemic corruption enabled the construction of multiple dams by the IRGC that has led to the lack of water and endangered the environment as well as the agricultural milieu. The protestors chanted ” May the founders of this oppression, God willing, they should be overthrown, and may God eradicate them from the earth!”
Today, villagers near Bandar Abbas, where earthquakes have devastated homes and livelihoods gathered to protest the chaotic situation and the state officials’ negligence to care for the victims. Following major shocks of the previous days, aftershocks continue to cause panic among the people. In such circumstances, the governor who came to the region did not even get out of his car and just passed by, failing to face people or arrange repercussions.
Two Kurdish Citizens Killed by IRGC Intelligence Unit
On Monday, November 15, the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Unit in Naghadeh, West Azerbaijan Province, informed the families of two Kurdish citizens, Asad Ramin and Davood Rahimi, that their loved ones have been killed.
According to victims’ family members, the IRGC Intelligence Unit has shown images of the bodies of Asad and Davood and has told their families that they were killed by security forces during their detention.
Responding to the request to deliver the bodies of the two citizens, the security forces told their families that there were no corpses to be handed over. The security forces also intimidated the victims’ families and prohibited them to hold a funeral.
Earlier, media sources affiliated with the IRGC had reported that the two citizens have died in clashes with security forces. Independent source inside Iran suggested that on Wednesday, September 1, the regime’s security forces arbitrarily arrested Asad Ramin and Davood Rahimi.

“Tell the Others That They Are Executing Everyone”—Political Prisoner Recounts Mass Executions in Iran’s Prisons
On Monday, the District Court of Durres, Albania, convened for the thirty-eighth session of the trial of Hamid Noury, an Iranian prison official charged with torturing inmates in the Gohardasht prison (Karaj) and taking part in the 1988 massacre of thousands of political prisoners. Noury was apprehended by Swedish authorities during a trip to the country in 2019. He is now standing trial in a court where many of his victims are giving harrowing testimonies of how he and other regime officials brutally tortured and executed prisoners.
The Iran Atrocities Aban Tribunal Concluded After 5 Days
The fifth and final day of the Iran Atrocities Aban Tribunal was held in London on Sunday, November 14, 2021. The Iran Atrocities Aban Tribunal is known as an international people’s tribunal. Organized by rights groups based in London, Paris and Oslo, Norway, aimed at investigating the atrocities committed by the Iranian regime during its bloody crackdown on nationwide protests in November 2019. Witness 367, a former employee of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Khatam-ol Anbia Garrison, testified on the fifth day on the role of the IRGC in a violent crackdown on the protests in November 2019.
The Global Demonstrations of Freedom-Loving Iranians on the Anniversary of the November 2019 Uprising in Iran, Call to Prosecute the Mullahs’ Regime Leaders — Nov. 13, 2021
Freedom-loving Iranians, supporters of the Iranian resistance (MEK and NCRI) held demonstrations on the anniversary of the November 2019 uprising, seeking justice for more than 1,500 martyrs of the uprising. The Iranians supported the continuation of the uprising of the Iranian people until the overthrow of the religious dictatorship of the mullahs in Iran.

Adequate transparency and accountability are therefore essential for ensuring that a country’s resource wealth is managed for the benefit of the whole population. With the above in mind, this article would like to have a brief look at the factors of “accountability” and “transparency” in Iran’s economy today.
Iran Sentences Journalist to Prison for Publishing Honor Killing Case in Western City
An Iranian journalist was sentenced to 27 months of prison and banned from journalism for publishing an honor killing case in Kuhdasht, western Iran. According to the Human Rights News Agency, the journalist was identified as 36-year-old Gholamhossein Ghalandari (Sina). Sina was the first to publish the news about Mobina Suri on his Telegram channel. Mobina, a child bride, was killed by her husband on August 30 in Lorestan, western Iran. Mobina was married to a young clergy, and local said family members of Mobina’s husband killed her out of suspicion and bigotry due to rumors about her and another boy. Her husband was detained but released after 11 days.
Another Hearing for Farzaneh Ansarifar To Be Held in December
The Penal Court of Behbahan will hold a hearing for Farzaneh Ansarifar on December 25, 2021. Farzaneh Ansarifar is the sister of Farzad Ansarifar, one of the victims killed by security forces during the November 2019 uprising in Behbahan, in southwestern Khuzestan province. The First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Mahshahr had previously examined the case of Farzaneh Ansarifar, charged with “propaganda against the state,” on November 8, 2021.
