Father of jailed protester commits suicide over son’s death sentence
The father of a jailed political prisoner who has been sentenced to death for his participation in Iran’s November 2019 protests committed suicide and passed away. According to ROKNA state-run News Agency, Mohammad Moradi, the 60-year-old father of jailed protester Amir Hossein Moradi, died this morning in his home. The report said that he hanged himself in his basement.

Rouhani’s White House remarks cause backlash among regime officials
In yet another attempt to escape his own failures, Iranian regime’s president Hassan Rouhani once again blamed the U.S. administration for Iran’s economic crisis on Saturday, saying, “If the people want to blame somebody for country’s problems and shortcomings they must curse the White House in Washington, and nobody must give wrong addresses to the people.”

Monday, September 28, 2020, marks the 317th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
