The mullahs’ criminal regime ruling in Iran hanged Navid Afkari, a 27-year-old wrestling champion, Saturday morning in Iran. Thousands of Iranians worldwide and several governments, international organizations, and athletes from across the globe had joined the call to save Navid’s life. Iran executes wrestler Navid Afkari despite global appeals, including from Trump

The Iranian regime on Saturday executed a wrestling champion despite global appeals to Tehran, including from President Trump, for the regime to spare the 27-year-old’s life.

Iranian state media IRNA reported that Navid Afkari, 27, was hanged Saturday morning in Adelabad prison in the city of Shiraz.

Iranian Resistance Units, the internal network of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), organized various anti-regime activities across the country that called for an end to the theocratic regime ruling Iran, and they echoed Iranian people’s yearning for freedom, democracy, and people’s sovereignty. The number of victims in Khuzestan is 6,737, Isfahan 4,714, Lorestan 4,540, Gilan 4,232, Sistan and Baluchestan 3,138, East Azerbaijan 2,958, Golestan 2,889, Alborz 2,883, Fars 2,871, Hamedan 2,567, Kermanshah 2,391, North Khorasan 1,679, Kerman 1,635, Central Province 1,337, Semnan 1,337, Yazd 1,319, Ardabil 1,237, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 669, and South Khorasan 592.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Sunday, September 13, 2020, marks the 302nd day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
