There’s No Question Tehran is Behind Hamas Attack, Former American VP Says

In an interview with CNN on October 9, former US Vice President Mike Pence criticized the Biden administration for what he called leading a policy of appeasement vis-a-vis the clerical regime in Iran.

Mr. Pence said, “The disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan has emboldened the enemies of freedom around the world. And now war is raging in Eastern Europe. And President Joe Biden’s kowtowing for the last two-and-a-half years to the mullahs in Iran, lifting sanctions, begging them to get back in the Iran nuclear deal, and then paying $6 billion in a ransom for hostages, I think set the conditions for this unprecedented terrorist attack by Hamas against Israel.”

Responding to the CNN host on what he considers the right policy for the regime, Mr. Pence added, “We put punitive sanctions on them. We got out of the Iran nuclear deal. And from day one of the Biden administration, they have pursued a policy of appeasement toward the mullahs in Iran. And there is no question in my mind that Iran is behind, has subsidized, has approved, and on the last day has even applauded this extraordinary terrorist attack by Hamas against Israel. What we need to be doing is have leadership in the White House that will once again bring a maximum pressure campaign on Iran, and isolate them as never before.”

Iran Helped Plot Attack on Israel Over Several Weeks

DUBAI—Iranian security officials helped plan Hamas’s Saturday surprise attack on Israel and
gave the green light for the assault at a meeting in Beirut last Monday, according to senior
members of Hamas and Hezbollah, another Iran-backed militant group.

Officers of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had worked with Hamas since August to devise the air, land, and sea incursions—the most significant breach of Israel’s borders since the 1973 Yom Kippur War—those people said.

Details of the operation were refined during several meetings in Beirut attended by IRGC officers and representatives of four Iran-backed militant groups, including Hamas, which holds power in Gaza, and Hezbollah, a Shiite militant group and political faction in Lebanon, they said.

Beware of Experts Collaborating With Tehran

townhall-logo

In 2014, Ariane Tabatabai – then a predoctoral fellow at Harvard University – published an article which pointedly advised policymakers to “Beware of the MEK.” It repeated serious accusations against the Iranian regime’s principal domestic adversary, the Mojahedin-e Khalq, or People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). The obvious goal was to discourage American and European legislators from flocking to the organization and its democratic agenda.

Tabatabai’s article described the MEK as a “cult-like dissident group, based outside of Iran.” While noting that the group had been removed from European terrorist lists in 2009 and the U.S. State Department list in 2012, she repeated spurious and long-denied claims that the MEK had attacked American personnel in the 1970s and supported the hostage-taking at the U.S. embassy in Tehran at the end of that decade.

Maryam Rajavi: Instrumentalizing the Palestinian Issue, a Well-Known Regime Tactic, Does Not Deceive Anyone

statment palestine maryam rajavi

Ebrahim Raisi, the henchman of the 1988 massacre and record holder of executions, is posing as a compassionate advocate for the Palestinian people, urging Muslim governments to join the fray. Instrumentalizing the Palestinian issue, a well-known tactic of the inhuman and demagogic Khomeini and Khamenei regimes does not deceive anyone. Khamenei and Raisi aim to transform the Iranian people‘s struggle against religious fascism in Iran into a Muslim-Jewish conflict.

Raisi’s expressions of gratitude to “Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei, who have guided and supported nations on the path of resistance,” and to Qassem Soleimani, are revealing and, at the same time, absurd.

After the Coronavirus pandemic, Khamenei is seeking another shield and cover to contain the uprising and preserve the mullahs’ illegitimate rule. Moreover, he must navigate through the regime’s parliamentary elections and the hidden feuding over his succession. However, the incitement of warmongering will ultimately turn out to his detriment.

Iran’s Regime Fears “Breaking Norms” and an Uprising of the Starved

iran-uprising-university-1-1

Two days before the uprising of Baluch youth on the anniversary of Zahedan’s Bloody Friday, Javan newspaper, which is run by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), showcased the regime’s fear of “disruption of norms” and uprisings. The slogans of “Death to Khamenei” along with the strikes in Baluchestan cities and over a hundred anti-regime activities by rebellious youth on September 29 and 30 shed light on the reasons for such expressions of terror.

On September 27, Javan wrote about the reasons for the regime’s fear: “We are witnessing cycles of accumulated anger. This anger has various reasons, such as livelihood, political demands, economic factors, and other factors that can be mentioned in this regard. We used to see this anger being unleashed once every 10 years, but currently, this time interval has decreased.”

Iranian Official Admits Involvement in 1983 Beirut Barracks Bombings

Regime iran 1983 Beirut Barracks Bombings

On October 1st, Fox News reported a startling revelation: “Iran’s regime officially admitted its role in the terrorist bombing that killed 241 American soldiers, 220 marines, 18 sailors, 3 soldiers, 17 American civilians, and 58 French soldiers in the 1983 terrorist attack in Beirut…”

This revelation is based on a translated text provided by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). The focus of this report is the remarks of Isa Tabatabai, who served as the representative of Khomeini and later Khamenei in Lebanon. These remarks were made during an interview and were initially published by the Iranian regime’s news agency ‘IRNA’ on September 13. Interestingly, ‘IRNA’ later removed this report from its website, sparking further intrigue.

Ebrahim Raisi’s Reign: A Soaring Toll of Executions in Iran

Ebrahim Raisi executions in Iran min

The number of executions in Iran has drastically increased since more than two years ago, when Ebrahim Raisi took office as the mullahs’ president in August 2021.

On the eve of the World and Europe Day Against the Death Penalty, we appeal to the international community to do whatever in their power to stop executions in Iran. For years, Iran has held the world record in the execution of women and the per capita execution rate among all countries. The death penalty is the clerical regime’s means of existence and survival. The Iranian regime uses the death penalty as a tool to suppress and silence a disgruntled public, the majority of whom live under the poverty line, are unemployed, and deprived of freedom of expression.
