On October 29, Iranians took to the streets in various cities of the world to express their support for their fellow countrymen and women at home and to call on the international community to break relations with the regime and stand with the people of Iran.

The Uprising’s Roaring Persistence Reached the Peak on the 40th Day
The Iranian people’s uprising reached a peak on its 40th day. Its roaring persistence despite brutal repression showed to the world that the overthrow of the velayat-e faqih regime (absolute clerical rule) and the victory of the people’s freedom and sovereignty are inevitable.
Now, it is this fearless generation and this army of uprising and freedom that will have the final say. We salute the hundreds of youths and teenagers who laid down their lives for Iran’s freedom. They braved bullets and said that if Iran cannot be freed except through our sacrifice, we offer our lives.
Live Report: Iran’s Nationwide Uprising Continues Despite Heavy Crackdown Measures
The nationwide uprising in Iran is marking its 44th day on Saturday following intense protests in dozens of cities on Friday despite the regime’s heavy crackdown measures and opening fire on civilians.
Protests in Iran have to this day expanded to at least 203 cities. Over 450 people have been killed and more than 25,000 are arrested by the regime’s forces, according to sources of Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). The names of 294 killed protesters have been published by the PMOI/MEK.
Iranian Students Mark Day 44 of the Uprising; Dr. Parisa Bahmani Dies of Injuries
The 44th day of the Iran uprising kicked off with Iranian students’ passionate protests in universities across Iran on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
It was also announced that Dr. Parisa Bahmani, a general surgeon, died in a hospital after being shot and wounded in the doctor’s protest on Wednesday, October 26, in Tehran.
Iran: Honoring Cyrus the Great, Protests Continue for Freedom – Day 44
On October 29, day 44 of the nationwide protests, citizens take to the streets across Iran. Today is also marked as Cyrus the Great day, an icon of justice and human rights. For centuries, oppressive rulers have claimed that they are following the path of Cyrus the Great. At the same time, they committed heinous crimes against defenseless people and freedom fighters and lined their pockets with national assets.
However, Iranian citizens have frankly rejected any various tiers of tyrannies. They would neither return under a monarchic dictatorship nor remain under a religious one. “Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or a Supreme Leader,” they chant.
Iran Plots To Have Its Young Opponents Addicted to Drugs
Reliable reports from Iran say the authorities of Karaj Central Prison have transferred several key drug smugglers to Ward 1, where young opponents arrested in the recent protests are detained. The drug dealers play an effective role in smuggling drugs into Iranian prisons, in cooperation with the IRGC (Revolutionary Guard Corps).
It is a well-known policy of the Iranian regime that it detains major drug traffickers with young opponents in the same ward, to have the youths addicted. The Iranian regime carried out the same plan on the protesters arrested during the November 2019 Iran protests who were detained in the Greater Tehran Penitentiary.
