Assault on a 16-Year-Old Girl by Morality Police

According to reports circulated on social media, Armita Geravand, a 16-year-old girl from Kermanshah has been in a coma for the past two days due to assault by regime agents under the pretext of the hijab in the Tehran metro. She is currently hospitalized at Fajr Air Force Hospital in Tehran under strict security measures.

State media denied the physical assault on this teenage girl with a consistent and clichéd statement, claiming that no physical confrontation had taken place, and she fell unconscious due to a drop in blood pressure.

According to this report, due to the extensive presence of security forces at Fajr Hospital, any meeting with this teenage girl is made impossible, even for her family. On Tuesday, October 3, a reporter from the state-run newspaper Shargh, who had visited this hospital to prepare a report, was detained by security forces for several hours.

Zelensky: The Pause After the 11th Package of Sanctions Has Already Been Too Long

President Volodymyr Zelensky notes that the pause in the introduction of sanctions against Russia for its aggression against Ukraine after the adoption of the 11th sanctions package by the European Union has been too long. This was announced at the meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of the EU member states, it is reported Office of the President. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the sanctions pressure on Russia is obviously not enough. This is evident primarily from the increase in the number of attack drones and airstrikes by Russian terrorists.

He stated, “It is also important to expand sanctions against Iran in sensitive areas, including imports of equipment and chemicals. Every Iranian strike drone that strikes European cities in Ukraine is a reason for sanctions pressure.”

Khamenei’s Rep in IRGC Calls Regime’s Followers Not to Quit

The representative of the clerical regime’s Supreme Leader in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Abdollah Haji Sadeghi, acknowledged a surge in quitting and division within the regime’s ranks. He cautioned, “Now is not the time to grow weary; now is not the time to disengage.”

Speaking at a gathering of the regime’s supporters and followers, he stated, “I don’t have the opportunity to delve into this now, but it’s the peril of despair, the peril of weakness, the peril of shattered determination. Indeed, it’s a war; it’s an economic war. Undoubtedly, there are internal infiltrations, and yes, the enemy is scheming.”

“We haven’t wearied of the fight, we haven’t regretted our commitment to jihad, we haven’t tired of dedicating our sons, our homes, our honor in the path of God,” he emphasized. “Recently, His Eminence (referring to the regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei) explicitly conveyed to all of us that we are approaching the peak. Now is not the time to grow tired; now is not the time to sever ties; now is not the time to take a break; now is not the time for comfort.”

EU Denounces Iran’s Nuclear Enrichment Escalation at UN General Assembly

On October 2, the European Union released a general statement during the first committee of the United Nations General Assembly. This statement was presented by Olof Skoog, the EU Ambassador and Head of the EU Delegation to the United Nations, during the seventy-eighth session of the first committee of the UN General Assembly. Skoog mentioned that candidate countries like North Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Ukraine, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Monaco and San Marino, align themselves with this statement.

The European Union stressed its strong commitment to preventing the Iranian regime from acquiring nuclear weapons, considering it a critical security priority. The EU also reminded the Iranian regime of its commitments in this regard and its international obligations.

The European Union expressed grave concern over the Iranian regime’s continued violations of the JCPOA, especially its actions aimed at expanding nuclear enrichment capacity and producing highly enriched uranium. The actions of the Iranian regime, lacking any credible non-military justification, pose significant dangers regarding the proliferation of nuclear arms.

Furthermore, the European Union strongly criticized the Iranian regime’s lack of fundamental cooperation with the IAEA. It urged the regime to promptly fulfill its legal obligations and commitments to the agency.

The European Union condemned the Iranian regime’s revocation of permits for several IAEA inspectors, an action that undermines the agency’s ability to effectively carry out its mandated mission. Lastly, the European Union called on all countries to support the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2231.

At this meeting, Bonnie Jenkins, the United States Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security stated, “Iran continues to expand its nuclear activities while hampering IAEA verification and monitoring activities. For more than four years, Iran has also failed to provide technically credible explanations to the Agency regarding possible undeclared nuclear activities.”
