Shahin Naseri was transferred from Shiraz’s Adel Abad Prison 10 days ago, raising concerns that he is under torture to take back his testimony.

Iran Cyber Police arrest 2 Telegram admins for “insulting officials”

The Chief of Iran’s Cyber Police (FATA) said that its agents had arrested two people in Ardabil, northwestern Iran, on charges of insulting the province’s judiciary officials.

“While monitoring social networks, Cyber Police experts came upon Telegram groups that were disturbing public opinion by posting lies, fake news and insults against the province’s judiciary officials,” Ali Ghahreman Tale’e said in comments carried by the IRGC affiliated Tasnim News Agency.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on October 15, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 458 cities had exceeded 124,000. The number of victims in Tehran is 29,691, Khorasan Razavi 9,310, Khuzestan 7,913, Isfahan 6,474, Lorestan 5,398, Qom 5,265, East Azerbaijan 4,393, Sistan and Baluchestan 3,526, West Azerbaijan 3,442, Alborz 3,388, Hamedan 3,293, Kermanshah 2,708, North Khorasan 2,134, Kerman 1,893, Central Province 1,687, Hormozgan 1,615, Bushehr 1,485, Ilam 1,024, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 942, and South Khorasan 914.

No news is available on political prisoner Soheil Arabi nearly one month after he was transferred from the Great Tehran Penitentiary to Rajaishahr Prison in Karaj.

Political prisoner Soheil Arabi was reportedly transferred out of GTP in late September and taken to Rajaishahr Prison where he is being detained in the so-called “suites” which is the regime’s euphemism for solitary confinement. After about a month, there has been no news of this prisoner. Other inmates in Rajaishahr have not seen him either.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Friday, October 16, 2020, marks the 335th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
