This year, International Women’s Day comes amidst the blazing flames of the blood-drenched uprising of the people of Baluchistan. An uprising with dozens of martyrs, where young people bravely attacked the Governor’s building and centers of the Revolutionary Guards and the State Security Force. They thus demonstrated the Iranian people’s resolve to overthrow the regime.
Coronavirus Disaster in Iran Takes 227,300 Lives in 501 Cities
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Sunday, March 7, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 501 cities had exceeded 227,300. The number of victims in Tehran is 53,531, Isfahan 14,700, Khuzestan 12,285, Mazandaran 9,642, Lorestan 9,503, West Azerbaijan 8,513, Qom 8,460, Golestan 5,910, Central Province 4,623, North Khorasan 3,473, Hormozgan 2,465, Ilam 2,336, Bushehr 2,294, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 1,830, Zanjan 2,475, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 1,714.

Iran: Pensioners hold seventh nationwide protest rally in 2021
Iranian pensioners held protest rallies in several cities on Sunday to reiterate their demands from the regime. This is the seventh organized rally of the pensioners in 2021 and fifth consecutive Sunday that they are gathering despite the heavy atmosphere of repression and presence of security forces. In the past years, the pensioners have been regularly protesting low wages and the government’s refusal to adjust their pensions based on the devaluation of the rial and the rising inflation rate.
On March 7, retirees held their protests in Tehran, Yazd, Isfahan, Tabriz, Shushtar, Shush, Haft Tappeh, Khorram Abad, Qazvin, Kermanshah, Ahvaz, Shahrud, Rasht, Mashhad, Sari, Ardebil, Arak, Urmia, Behshahr, Sanandaj, Shiraz, and Karaj.
Two workers, one retired teacher arrested in peaceful Tehran protests for higher wages
Three Iranians were detained by security forces in gatherings by pensioners, teachers, and workers outside the Ministry of Labor today in Tehran.
According to the Human Rights News Agency, the three protesters arrested were identified as labor activist Kamyar Fakour, Asad Moftahi, a Snap Food worker, and Esmaeel Gerami, a retired teacher. Asad Moftahi was beaten upon arrest.
