British Parliamentarians Participate in Nowruz Celebration With Iran’s Resistance at UK Parliament

A diverse gathering of UK Parliament representatives from various political parties, along with members and supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), convened at the House of Commons Central Hall for a significant Nowruz celebration.

During the event, key messages were delivered, including endorsements of the NCRI’s Ten-Point Plan and calls for the blacklisting and complete sanctioning of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). NCRI President-elect Mrs. Maryam Rajavi thanked UK parliamentarians for supporting the ideals of the Iranian people and human rights.

UN Chief Raps Iran’s Nuclear Secrecy Amid Global Concerns

In a stern criticism of the Iranian regime’s veiled nuclear activities, the United Nations’ International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director-General, Rafael Grossi, issued a pointed critique on Saturday, March 30, in an interview with PBS.

Grossi’s remarks highlighted the grave implications of the regime’s opacity and its disregard for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly referred to as the Iran nuclear deal. He underscored the concerning escalation of Iran’s nuclear capabilities, emphasizing the significant increase in enriched uranium reserves, signaling a departure from previous commitments.

In his critique of Tehran’s compliance with inspections, Grossi lamented the inadequacies in Iran’s cooperation, casting doubt on the sincerity of its engagement with international monitoring efforts. He stressed the need for a recalibration of inspection protocols, acknowledging the evolving nature of Iran’s nuclear advancements since the 2015 agreement.

In conclusion, Grossi underscored the pressing imperative for the regime to adhere to international norms of transparency and accountability. Failure to do so, he warned, would not only jeopardize regional stability but also erode global trust in Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Iran’s Economy Is in Stark Contrast to Raisi’s Claims

In his Nowruz message, Iranian regime president Ebrahim Raisi referred to the Persian year 1402 (March 2023-March 2024) as a year of ups and downs accompanied by bitter and sweet events. He added, “However, as a result of the events of the year, there was more growth and prosperity in dear Iran in all sectors. Iranian regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei named the year 1402 as a year of production growth and inflation control. The government’s efforts were concentrated on achieving this slogan. The overall economic growth in 1402, according to the estimates of the Statistical Center, will be at least 6 percent. It has now been three consecutive years that the country has experienced growth rates above 4 percent.”

In breaking his record of making false statements, Raisi asserts that he has established a new economic framework in which, despite prices skyrocketing day by day, inflation is decreasing. Furthermore, while production has virtually vanished in all areas, this economic framework supposedly demonstrates growth of 6 percent or more.
