Coronavirus Disaster in Iran: The Fatalities in 518 Cities Exceeds 230,700

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Saturday, March 13, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 518 cities had surpassed 230,700. The number of victims in Tehran is 54,091, Khorasan Razavi 15,120, Isfahan 14,955, Khuzestan 12,770, Mazandaran 9,802, Lorestan 9,683, West Azerbaijan 8,653, Qom 8,520, Golestan 5,999, Sistan and Baluchestan 5,401, Central Province 4,718, Semnan 3,760, North Khorasan 3,513, and Zanjan and Hormozgan provinces 2,510 each.

Iran: Anti-regime protests are becoming more frequent and intense

Shorty after widespread protests in Sistan and Baluchestan province, another round of intense, anti-regime protests erupted in Iran, this time in the province of Hormozgan. On Friday, Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) forces in the town of Kuhestak opened fire on a group of Baluch fuel traders, leaving two locals killed and injured. In response protesters took to the streets and clashed with authorities in the port of Kuhestak. The regime’s security forces opened fire on the protesters, leaving a third protester injured with a gunshot wound to his leg. But protests continued despite the heavy atmosphere of repression and expanded to neighboring towns.

Human rights violations are the regime’s only means of survival

Last year, the Iranian people continued to witness the most violations of their rights by the Iranian regime.

In his report to the 46th session of the UN Human Rights Council, Mr. Javaid Rehman, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran, expressed concern and called on the Human Rights Council to pay special attention to human rights violations in Iran. Mr. Rehman based his report on news, and information available to him because the regime has not yet accepted his requests for a trip to Iran.

Injured fuel carrier passes away in SE Iran hospital

A fuel carrier who was injured last week by police in Mirjaveh southwestern Iran passed away in the hospital today due to the severity of his injuries.

On March 7, police opened fire on a car during a car chase, causing the car to overturn.

The father and son in the car were identified as Mazar and Attallah Gazouie. Attallah, the son, was killed on the scene but Mazar was severely injured and was transferred to the hospital. Local reports indicate that he was in a coma for a week in a hospital in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan Province.

The Assignment of 42 of Iran’s Wetlands to the Ministry of Energy

Following Iran’s controversial cases of the transfer of part of the Caspian Sea to the Russians, Chah Bahar port to the Indians, the assignment of the Damavand peak and the forest of Agh Mashhad, this time it is the turn of 42 wetlands that are to be transferred to the Ministry of Energy.

The news was shocking. “Forty-two wetlands are registered as the property of the Ministry of Energy.” Although there was also other shocking news on the transfer of other public and national wealth of the Iranian people to the regime’s officials or foreign countries, but these assignments will not reduce from the catastrophe of this case which is happening recently.
