Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 518 Cities Exceeds 230,100
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Friday, March 12, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 518 cities had exceeded 230,100. The number of victims in Tehran is 54,001, Isfahan 14,915, Khuzestan 12,690, Mazandaran 9,772, East Azerbaijan 8,918, Gilan 8,151, Fars 6,817, Alborz 5,718, Kerman 5,079, Ardabil 2,847, Qazvin 2,614, and South Khorasan 2,241.

Four Iranian Bahais sentenced to 12 years of prison
According to the Human Rights News Agency, the four men and women, identified as Mona Mehrabi, Elham Kerempisheh, Afsaneh Yadegar Ardestani and Ehsanollah Yadegar Ardestani were previously tried in absentia in 2019 and sentenced to a total of 20 years, later changed to 3 years of prison for each person.
The four Bahai citizens were charged with “membership in illegal organizations which are threats to national security”.
Protesters burn state boats following fatal shooting by security forces in southern port
Following the fatal shooting of Baluch fuel carriers in a southern Iranian port, angry protesters burned several security force boats. According to reports from Baluch sources, marine forces in the town of Sirik opened fire on Baluch fuel carriers today. A man identified as Mehdi Raisi was shot and killed while another man identified as Rashed Torkanami was wounded in the leg.
