Retirees and other Groups Join the Sunday Protests

On Sunday, many Iranians took to the streets to cry out and demand their rights from a corrupt and deaf system. Iran Air Airline pensioners gathered today outside its offices in Tehran to demand their unpaid wages. Also in Tehran, pharmacists rallied in front of the Administrative Court urging the court to force the Health Ministry to follow a new bylaw for the establishment of pharmacy. Steel and Mine Industry retirees rallied in front of the ‘Steel Retirees’ Fund protesting officials’ failure to increase their salaries. In Kermanshah, contractors of the electricity distributor office rallied in front of the Provincial Governorate and the electricity office protesting officials’ imprudence and inability to resolve their dilemmas. In Khuzestan, pest control workers of Haft-Tappeh Sugarcane Complex rallied at the company’s office in Shush protesting officials’ refusal to extend their contracts. In Isfahan, retirees and pension recipients affiliated with the Social Security Organization rallied in front of the Org’s local office protesting officials’ failure to meet their demands.

Livestock owners hold large rallies

June 27 – Shiraz, south-central Iran
Livestock owners hold a large rally this and several other cities protesting the low selling price of their products and their rising expenses.
They are seen spilling their milk on the ground in protest.

June 27 – Mashhad, northeast Iran
Livestock owners rallying and chanting:
“Bankrupt livestock owners can no longer make ends meet!”
Many are saying the continuation of the status quo will truly leave them completely bankrupt.

Tehran—retirees of the HOMA aviation company rallied in front of the HOMA office protesting the state-backed employers’ refusal to address their demands. Previously, they had staged several gatherings; however, employers have done nothing.

Iran: Oil And Petrochemical Industries Contract Workers Strike For The Second

Week Running

The nationwide strike of contract workers in the oil and petrochemical industries, which began on June 19, in protest of low wages and difficult working conditions, entered its second week on Saturday, June 26, 2021. And new groups of workers in various cities and industries are joining the strike.

More employees and workers from the Bushehr Petrochemical Company are joining the nationwide strikes.

Iran: The Staggering Coronavirus Death Toll Exceeds 318,000

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Saturday, June 26, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities is more than 318,000. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 74,526, Isfahan 21,445, Khuzestan 20,111, Khorasan Razavi 19,335, Mazandaran 12,515, West Azerbaijan has reached 11,868, Fars 10,657, Golestan 7,565, Sistan and Baluchistan 7,561, Kerman 7,228, Central Province 6,553, Kermanshah 6,158, Yazd 5,292, Hormozgan 4,590, Ilam 3,331, and South Khorasan 2,926.

Growing Concern Over the Human Rights Record of the Iranian Regime’s New President

The appointment of a mass murderer as the president of the mullahs’ regime in Iran continues to draw condemnation across the world. In a press release, Pierre Bercis, the president of France-based Nouveaux Droits de l’Homme organization, wrote, “The so-called presidential elections in Iran is just a show, and its goal was to appoint an obedient person as the head of state to be a pupil to the supreme leader Ali Khamenei, who is the successor of Ruhollah Khomeini, the fundamentalist founder of this regime.

Iran’s Parliament to Ban Foreign Messengers in New Bill

Iran’s parliament plans to pass a bill this week to “protect the rights of internet users and foreign apps”. In early June, Iranian MP Reza Taghipour shed light on a new bill in the parliament that would ban foreign messengers if passed. The June 6 interview was later removed from Tasnim.

Iran’s Six-Grader President

Clerics in Iran are taught oratory skills in seminaries. This provides them a tool to speak with sophistry in front of an audience, so they can outspeak the common people. However, in the case of Iran’s new mass executioner president, Ebrahim Raisi, this is quite different. Raisi was appointed as an assistant prosecutor at the age of 20, and later the prosecutor of Karaj and Hamedan, while he had never finished his full education, and did not possess a law degree. Many believe he attended school for only six grades. His role was to issue death sentences for those who opposed Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran’s Outgoing President and Significant Admissions

The Iranian government held the 13th Presidential election in the post-anti-monarchic revolution on June 18. Observers describe the election as the most important election in Iran since the ayatollahs took power in February 1979. However, it flagrantly showed that the people no longer care about electoral events, their desires moving beyond the current establishment and its legal processes. Despite an unprecedented boycott of the June 18 Presidential election, authorities portrayed a glorious image of the event, naming it “a great and historical victory.”

Two Iranian Baha’i Citizens Pressured To Make False Confessions

A few days after the arrests of Dorsa Dehghani and Sina Kamali, some news sources and social media users, reported that security forces have pressured the two Baha’is to make a forced confession. The two Baha’i citizens were arrested separately by security agents in the southwestern city of Shiraz on June 14 and transferred to an unknown location. Baha’i citizens Sina Kamali Sarvestani and Dorsa Dehghani were arrested Monday by security forces in Shiraz and taken to an unknown location.
