Five Combatants Killed Due To Unknown Explosion in Deir Ezzor
Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that five combatants were killed today due to an explosion that targeted their car near the Al-Baghelyah neighborhood in the western part of Deir Ezzor city which is controlled by regime forces and Iranian-backed militias. The death toll is expected to rise further, as the attack left four other combatants injured, some seriously, amid unconfirmed reports of more fatalities. There was no confirmed information about the nature of the explosion, and it is not known whether it was caused by an IED explosion or an International Coalition drone attack. According to SOHR sources, the car had left the Ayash warehouse affiliated to Iranian-backed militias shortly before it was attacked, and it was on its way to the Al-Jurah neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city.

High Ranking Cleric Admits to Public Hatred Against Regime
Ahmad Khatami, a member of the Assembly of Experts admitted that the Iranian society is done with the entirety of the regime.
In his remarks, Khatami openly admitted to social hatred against Khamenei by saying, “Why are slogans written against the Supreme Leader? What did he do to them? The enemy wants to separate the people from the Leader. What do soaring prices have to do with the Leader?”
“The second aspect is resilience, specifically the preservation of the system,” Khatami added. “Despite enduring numerous conspiracies over the past 44 years since the Islamic Revolution, the recent riots have demonstrated that our enemies have transcended ideological boundaries. They have surpassed divisions between left and right, principalists and reformists. They openly declare their intention to undermine and overthrow the state. The pamphlets they distribute explicitly call for the overthrow of the Islamic system. It is a grave misconception to believe that these riots could have been prevented if the Guardian Council had approved certain individuals. Such analysis is entirely mistaken. Those who have taken part in these events don’t care about principalists and they oppose the entire state.”

Retirees Hold Protest Rallies in Several Iranian Cities
Retirees of the Iranian regime’s telecommunications industry returned to the streets in several cities to resume their protest on Monday. Protest rallies were reported in Mashhad, Bandar Abbas, Bojnurd, Arak, Rasht, Ilam, and Ahvaz. In Mashhad, northeast Iran, retirees of the Razavi Khorasan province telecom company rallied and chanted slogans against regime officials. “Resign you incompetent minister!” they chanted. In the past few years, retirees across Iran have been protesting their deteriorating living conditions, especially as the government refuses to adjust their pensions based on the inflation rate and fluctuations in the price of the rial, Iran’s national currency. The price of most basic goods has spiked severalfold while pensioners continue to receive the same stipends as before.

Additionally, due to the practice of selling oil at a 20% discount with a daily output of 1 million barrels, an estimated $5 billion is squandered annually.

Then came another generation of women in the 1980s whose sacrifices and unsubmissive struggle shook the foundations of the mullahs’ misogynous regime. And then, the world saw the next generations of brave Iranian women and girls who pursued this tortuous and blood-drenched path during the uprisings in 1999, 2009, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2023.
Teachers of Shiraz and Fars Province Sentenced to 34 Years in Prison
The Coordination Council of Iranian Teachers’ Trade Associations reported that the Revolutionary Court of Shiraz issued its preliminary verdict for eight teachers of Shiraz and Fars province on Saturday, June 17, 2023. According to the verdict, Mojgan Bagheri, Iraj Rahnama, Afshin Razmjouii, Gholamreza Gholami, Mohammad Ali Zahmatkesh, and Asghar Amirzadegan were each sentenced to five years in prison. Zahra Esfandiari and Abdul Razzaq Amiri were also sentenced to two years imprisonment with leg tags. The trial for the teachers of Shiraz and Fars province convened on June 10, 2023. According to the Coordination Council of Iranian Teachers’ Trade Associations, the verdicts were issued under the security services’ pressure.
