More Protests on Wednesday in Iran

On Wednesday, different cities in Iran witnessed more protests and rallies from hardworking Iranians who were deprived of their rights and earnings. Workers in Ahvaz, sugar cube workers in Shush, teachers and defrauded cryptocurrency owners in Tehran were reported among the protesting groups. Also, locals in Saqervan blocked the Mashhad-Quchan road protesting the shortage of water for their livelihoods.

Fire in an Oil Refinery in South Tehran

On Wednesday afternoon, reports indicated that a huge blaze has erupted in Tehran’s oil refinery located on the southern outskirts of Iran’s capital, with towering plumes of black smoke rising high into the sky and visible even from the northern parts of the city.

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll Exceeds 303,500

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, the Coronavirus death toll in 543 cities had exceeded 303,500. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 71,096, Isfahan 20,260, Khorasan Razavi 18,440, Khuzestan 18,944, East Azerbaijan 12,458, Lorestan 12,160, West Azerbaijan 11,408, Fars 10,102, Alborz 8,543, Golestan 7,350, Sistan and Baluchestan 6,991, Kerman 6,778, Hamedan 6,698, Central Province 6,308, Kurdistan 5,192, Yazd 5107, North Khorasan 4,373, Ardabil 3,785, Hormozgan 3,765, Qazvin 3,484, Ilam 3,186, and South Khorasan 2,816.

MEK Resistance Units Carried Out Widespread Anti-Regime Activities in May

Iranian opposition PMOI/MEK Resistance Units call for Iran Election Boycott — May 2021

During the month of May, over 310 areas in all of Iran’s provinces witnessed activities calling for a boycott of the regime’s sham presidential elections in June. These are activities of the Iranian Resistance Units, the network of the Iranian opposition the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). This campaign primarily began in April 2021, following the Iranian Resistance’s call to boycott the mullahs’ farce elections. In April, The Resistance Units, carried out anti-regime activities in over 250 places in 27 provinces.

Iranian Kurdistan’s Chief Justice Says “No Leniency” for People Who Cross Election “Red Line”

The Chief Justice of Kurdistan said in a meeting on June 1 that anyone who crossed the regimes “red line” in cyberspace regarding the upcoming elections would be severely dealt with. According to the state-run ISNA News Agency, Seyed Hossein Hosseini said the Judiciary would monitor everyone’s activities on the internet and that offenders would be “severely” dealt with without any leniency.

Well, the Iranian opposition asserts that the regime has actually established an international arms smuggling and drug trafficking system, using the financial resources plundered from the Iranian people. They said that groups operating under the influence of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and managed by the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and Quds Force are funding terrorism and regional interventions through sending drugs to the West.

IRGC Kill 2 Iranian Kurdish Dissidents in NW Iran

Two-Kurds-killed-Hadi-and-Ayub

Two Iranian Kurdish dissidents were killed on May 29 by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces in Piranshahr, northwestern Iran. According to the Hengaw Organization, the two men were identified as Hadi Sheikheh and Ayub Soltani and were members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. The report said they were driving in the Piranshahr- Mahabad road, when IRGC forces opened fire on their car. The two men were killed at the scene, and the injured driver was also detained by the IRGC.
