Exclusive: Satellite Photos Show Iran Expanding Missile Production, Sources Say

WASHINGTON/DUBAI, July 7 (Reuters) – Recent satellite imagery shows major expansions at two key Iranian ballistic missile facilities that two American researchers assessed are for boosting missile production, a conclusion confirmed by three senior Iranian officials.

The enlargement of the sites follows an October 2022 deal in which Iran agreed to provide missiles to Russia, which has been seeking them for its war against Ukraine. Tehran also supplies missiles to Yemen’s Houthi rebels and the Lebanese militia Hezbollah, both members of the Iran-backed Axis of Resistance against Israel, according to U.S. officials.

US Military Says Four Houthi Drones Destroyed in Past 24 Hours

The US military’s Central Command said in a statement on Sunday that in the past 24 hours, its forces destroyed two Houthi drones in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen while partner forces destroyed two Houthi drones over the Gulf of Aden, reported Reuters.

“It was determined these systems presented an imminent threat to US, coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region. These actions were taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for US, coalition, and merchant vessels,” the statement read.

Polling Stations, Puppet Kings, and Anti-MEK Propaganda Galore

Michael Rubin, an architect of hollow propaganda, recently floated the idea that the Biden administration should “set up polling stations [in the U.S.], but with expanded ballots … [that include] figures such as Reza Pahlavi, the son of the ousted Shah.” This absurd proposal not only suggests mirroring the fraudulent tactics of the Iranian theocracy but also showcases Rubin’s penchant for detached-from-reality daydreams and affinity for fringe figures.

His suggestion not only reveals a profound misunderstanding of the sentiments of the Iranian people but also complete ignorance. It is not the prerogative of the Biden administration or any other foreign government to organize elections for the Iranian people. True and just elections can only occur following the overthrow of the current regime, not under the watch of the oppressive IRGC and this dictatorship.

Fake Votes And Pretender Reformists Won’t Save Khamenei’s Regime

Five days after Iran’s people massively boycotted the first round of the regime’s sham presidential elections on June 28, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was forced to admit, “In the first stage, participation was less than we expected,” and added dismissively, “If anyone thinks those who did not vote did so because they opposed the system, this understanding is completely wrong.” He then openly laid the groundwork for fraud and manipulation, promising higher participation in the second round.

The desperate supreme leader, despite repeated pleas and requests, faced a 91% boycott in the second round. He ridiculously combined the fraudulent votes from both rounds and claimed, “The people came out… they filled the ballot boxes with over 55 million votes in two stages!… This great movement, in confronting the artificial uproar of the election boycott created by the enemies of the Iranian nation to instill despair and deadlock, is a brilliant and unforgettable work.”
