Outrage, Anger, Disgust, and More Protests Across Iran
Since yesterday, the public outrage over the water and power outages has shocked the entire establishment in Tehran and local authorities. Even though the regime’s president, parliament’s speaker, the ministry of energy, and other officials have vowed to address the problem, the Iranian people know that no one is going to help them. Patients in hospitals are helplessly let down, food at stores and bakeries, and complete households are destined to decay. As such, Iranians showed their anger on the streets.
Isfahan dairy farmers poured milk on the street to protest the high price of feed and the low price of their products. In Ghirokarzin, southwest Iran, people rallied outside the local Electricity Department at around 3 am local time protesting lengthy and unannounced blackouts. In Damghan, east of Tehran, cattle owners protested against constant blackouts and officials’ indifference by spilling their milk into the streets.
Reports indicate that during today’s early morning protest in Fardis against blackouts, security forces attacked locals and arrested several people. In Fars province, residents in Shiraz, chanted “Death to Khamenei,” venting their anger over consequent power outages.

Iran: Coronavirus Fatalities Exceed 323,200
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Monday, July 5, 2021, that the Coronavirus fatalities in 547 cities across Iran had passed 323,200. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 75,536, Isfahan 21,840, Khuzestan 20,486, Khorasan Razavi 19,680, East Azerbaijan 13,128, Mazandaran 12,625, Fars 10,882, Gilan 10,666, Alborz 9,178, Sistan and Baluchestan 7,991, Kerman 7,483, Central Province 6,658, Kermanshah 6,221, Kurdistan 5,487, Yazd 5,387, Hormozgan 4,900, Qazvin 3,704, Bushehr 3,534, South Khorasan 2,986, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 2,650.

Iran: Power Blackouts Trigger Protests in Many Cities
People in Tehran took to the streets on Sunday evening to protest the continued electricity outage caused by poor management and the government’s destructive policies. Rallies took place in different parts of Tehran, including Tehran Pars and Baharestan. The protests quickly took on a political nature as protesters chanted “Down with Khamenei” and “Down with the dictator” and “Down with the Islamic Republic,” calling for the ouster of the ruling mullahs and their supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
Iran Doctor Says COVID-19 Patients Dying in Hospitals During Tehran’s Blackouts
An Iranian doctor told a state-run news agency that COVID-19 patients on ventilators have passed away during Tehran’s blackouts. Speaking to Rokna, Dr. Mohammad-Reza Hashemian said between the time electricity goes out and the emergency power kicks in, hospital patients on ventilators face life-threatening conditions and have even died.
The Truth About Iran’s Domestic COVID-19 Vaccine
The Iranian regime is constantly promoting various types of domestic vaccines, and in recent days, different officials and institutions have been claiming to produce a type of Covid-19 vaccine. In this propaganda show, Iranian regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei also played the leading role and injected the so-called domestic vaccine, but the institutions that claim to produce the vaccine do not dare to take one of these vaccines to the international health organization for check and approval.
Iranian Netizens’ Tweet Strom in Support of Maryam Rajavi
In support of Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), Iranian netizens launched a tweetstorm on July 3 with #IStandWithMaryamRajavi. During the online campaign, Iranians declared their reasons for supporting the NCRI President-elect. The campaign also coincided with the 18th anniversary of the Iranian resistance victory and the freedom of Mrs. Rajavi in 2003. According to a deal made between the then-French government and ‘moderate’-President Mohammad Khatami’s government, French authorities launched a massive attack targeting the NCRI’s representatives and detained Mrs. Rajavi along with around 160 opposition members and supporters on June 17, 2003.
Iran: Power Struggle Inside Khamenei’s Office
The stellar wealth of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is no longer a secret issue in Iran. Not only Iranian citizens but almost all people who follow Iran’s developments have realized that Khamenei and his staff run the wealthiest institutions and conglomerates in the country. This gigantic economic organization also leads the country and makes sensitive political decisions in favor of its financial interests. For instance, in the early of 2020 and while almost all countries had suspended their flights to China, as the Covid-19 epicenter, Mahan Airline affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was performing flights to China every day.
Iran’s Judiciary Attack on Bar Association’s Independence
Iran’s National Union of the Bar Association issued a statement on July 4 in protest to new guidelines issued by the Judiciary on June 30. The National Union said it would not implement revised regulations to the Law of Attorneyship introduced by the judiciary. The union said that the regulations “violate and restrict the independence of bar associations,” violating citizens’ right to independent legal representation and counsel.
Tortured Sharif University Students Still Detained in High-Security Ward
Mostafa Nili, the lawyer of Tortured Sharif University students Ali Younesi and Amir Hossein Moradi, provided more details about the hearing of the charges against the two, which was held in the Revolutionary Court of Tehran on Saturday, July 3. Nili said that during the hearing, he requested the transfer of his clients from Security Ward 209 to the General Ward on Evin Prison.
Iran Executes Two Imprisoned Brothers Forced to “Confess”
Two imprisoned brothers one of whom was paralyzed due to being beaten in prison were executed in Iran on Sunday. Iranian authorities executed Davood and Bahaoddin Ghasemzadeh for a crime that took place 12 years ago and, according to Amnesty International, following a conviction based on forced “confessions”. In addition to the brothers Davood and Bahauddin Qasemzadeh, another man identified as Anwar Abdollahi was also executed on murder charges in Urmia Prison in northwest Iran.
