The Belgian Parliament Has an Important Decision To Make on Thursday

As the Belgian parliament prepares to vote on a bill that will legalize prisoner swaps with the Iranian regime, Europe’s security and the security of thousands of Iranian dissidents hang in the balance. Should the bill be ratified, Assadollah Assadi, a convicted diplomat terrorist who was caught red-handed as he tried to bomb a large rally of the Iranian Resistance in Paris in 2018, will be returned to Iran in exchange for a Belgian national who has been held hostage by Tehran.

New COVID Wave Sweeps Across Iran

Inmates Deliberately Starved in the Central Prison of Urmia

The ration for food and bread for female prisoners in the Central Prison of Urmia has been cut down. More than 40 prisoners do not receive meals every day.

An informed source in the women’s ward of the Central Prison of Urmia said, “Over the past few days, the ration of dry bread has been reduced to one piece per day. In addition, because of shortage of food, every day, more than 40 inmates do receive their meals.”

Why Tehran Resorts to ‘Bad-Hijab’ Offenses?

On July 5, the Iranian regime’s state media reported that the deputy attorney-general in Mashhad, the capital of the northeastern Iranian province Razavi Khorasan, had ordered governmental offices to not provide services to “bad-hijab” [improperly-veiled] women. The ruling mullahs in Iran regularly use ‘bad hijab’ in reference to women who defy their restrictive misogynistic measures. The ‘Islamic Republic’ constitution forces women and girls older than nine to cover their hair entirely when in public.
