Dozens of Legislative Bodies Across the World Support the Free Iran Campaign
In the Free Iran 2023 campaign, more than 3,600 parliamentarians from 61 legislative bodies in 40 countries in Europe, North America, Arabic countries, and Australia have expressed their support for the Iranian people’s uprising and their desire to establish a democratic republic. They also voiced their support for the Ten-Point Plan of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and called for a firm policy against Iran’s regime, which includes the blacklisting of the Revolutionary Guards and holding regime leaders accountable for their crimes against humanity.
French Court Revokes Police Ban on Key Rally of Iranian Dissident Group in ‘Major Blow’ to Islamic Regime
In a last-minute ruling on Friday, a French court ruled to allow for the annual Free Iran summit and rally to take place in Paris. The upcoming event, headed by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) — which calls for the overthrow of Iran’s clerical leadership — is expecting tens of thousands of supporters and Iranian expatriates from across Europe. The move comes after France initially chose to ban the demonstration over terror fears, according to a letter sent to the organizers and reported by Reuters. At the time of the banning earlier this month, the NCRI expressed outrage over what it termed a “disgraceful act against democracy,” while accusing France of “succumbing” to Iranian pressure.

Paris Court Reverses French Police Ban on Iranian Opposition Rally
PARIS, June 30 (Reuters) – A Paris court on Friday reversed a decision by the French capital’s police to ban an upcoming Iranian opposition rally over the risk of an attack, saying it interfered with the basic freedom to protest.
The ruling by the Paris administrative tribunal comes as police are fully stretched amid the worst riots seen across cities in France since 2005 sparked by the fatal police shooting of a teenager.
The Paris-based National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), political arm of the People’s Mujahideen Organisation of Iran (PMOI), has held frequent rallies in the French capital over the years. They have attracted thousands of followers and are often attended by high profile former U.S., European and Arab officials critical of the Islamic Republic.
