Political prisoner Golrokh Iraee has been banished to the Prison of Amol, in Mazandaran Province, north Iran, after returning to Qarchak Prison. She was under interrogation by the Intelligence of the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for 43 days at Ward 2A of Evin Prison in Tehran.

Political prisoner Golrokh Iraee was violently moved out of Qarchak Prison after a raid by 20 prison guards on ward 8 of on December 23, 2020, sent to the IRGC Intelligence Ward 2A in Tehran’s Evin Prison.

A Wrestler was Executed Today in Dezful Prison

Mehdi Ali Hosseini was executed today in Dezful Prison. The 30-year-old wrestler was sentenced to death in 2015 on the charge of murder. According to Iran HRM only in 2020, more than 255 people were executed in Iran.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Sunday, January 24, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 478 cities had exceeded 205,800. The number of victims in Tehran is 49,976, Khorasan Razavi 13,905, Isfahan 13,010, Khuzestan 10,270, Mazandaran 8,262, East Azerbaijan 7,858, Golestan 5,195, Kermanshah 4,264, Yazd 3,777, North Khorasan 3,168, Semnan 3,050, Zanjan 2,210, Ilam 2,131, Bushehr 2,074, and South Khorasan 1,956.

Golrokh Iraee back in Qarchak Prison after 43 days of interrogation

Golrokh Iraee is back in Qarchak Prison after 43 days of interrogation by the Intelligence of the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) at Ward 2A of Evin Prison in Tehran.

20 prison guards in Qarchak Prison raided ward 8 of Qarchak Prison on December 23, 2020, and violently removed political prisoner Golrokh Iraee to send her to the IRGC Intelligence Ward 2A in Tehran’s Evin Prison. She was returned to Qarchak Prison on Sunday, January 24, 2021, though she has been denied a telephone card to call her family.

Political prisoner Loghman Hakimpour was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He is presently detained in Evin Prison in Tehran.

Political prisoner Loghman Hakimpour has been detained for seven months. He was summoned to court and tried on January 12, 2021. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison on the charge of “assembly and collusion against national security” and to another 5 years for “membership in the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).”

Political prisoner Reza Qoli Shir Mohammadi remains in detention despite suffering from liver cancer.

Mr. Shir Mohammadi, 65, is presently detained in the Prison of Tabriz. He is in dire health and his conditions have deteriorated this week.
