The mullahs’ regime ruling Iran, in dire need to bring the ongoing protests across the country to an end, has been escalating its crackdown and threats, including issuing an increasing number of death sentences to arrested protesters. After already executing four individuals detained in the recent protests, the ruling regime is faced with a nation determined to continue its campaign for freedom and democracy and refusing to back down in the face of the mullahs’ repression.

In Tehran, protesters torched a large banner of the regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the eliminated IRGC Quds Force chief Qassem Soleimani.
Also in Tehran, Locals torched a pro-regime propaganda billboard, protesting the recent executions of Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Seyed Mohammad Hosseini.

In Shiraz, south-central Iran, protesters attacked a base of the regime’s oppressive security forces early this morning local time.
In Maragheh, northwest Iran, protesters set ablaze a sculpture of former IRGC Quds Force chief Qassem Soleimani in also early hours of Wednesday.
In Malard west of Tehran, courageous youth burned the banners installed with the picture of the criminal Qassem Soleimani and Khamenei.

Iran’s Nationwide Uprising on the Verge of Entering Its Fifth Month
Iran’s nationwide uprising is marking its 117th day on Tuesday with protests continuing in various forms as people are relentlessly taking to the streets, holding gatherings in various ceremonies and turning them into anti-regime rallies, and maintaining ongoing attacks targeting the regime’s sites and symbols.
The Iranian people both inside the country and abroad hold regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) fully accountable for this deliberate and premeditated atrocity.
Detained Protesters Face Unfair Prison Sentences in 5-Min Trials
Mahtab Ansarian, Mahshid Zahedpasand, and Mina Afshari are among the young women detained during the recent Iran uprising. Each of the three detained protesters was sentenced to two years in prison in a 5-minute trial that was held online.
Mahtab Ansarian, a 19-year-old student in the first semester of graphics at Tehran’s Soura University, and Mahshid Zahedpasand, 19, were arrested on November 15, 2022, in phase one of Andisheh, in Shahriar, a city in Tehran Province that is a hotbed of protests. The three young women are currently incarcerated in Qarchak prison.
Getting To Know the 15 Young Women Who Are on Hunger Strike
It turned out a week on Monday, January 9, that 15 young women detained in Fardis Prison (Kachouii) in Karaj have started their dry hunger strike. The 15 young women are protesting the prolongation of their detention, undecided status, lack of examination of their cases, and lack of medical care. But even then, they were deprived of the right to call and visit their families.
Based on social media reports, these detained protesters objected to the unsanitary conditions of the prison but were brutalized and beaten up. So, they started a dry hunger strike on January 2, 2023.
Mohammad Ghobadlou Under the Shadow of Execution, Save Him
Mohammad Ghobadlou, a resident of Parand in Tehran, was born on January 1, 2001. He is one of the thousands of detainees of recent protests in Iran. The Iranian Judiciary sentenced him to death without Mohammad Ghobadlou’s right to an attorney. Mohammad Ghobadlou suffers from bipolar disorder; he was charged with murdering a police officer and injuring five other officers by running them over.
Mohammad Ghobadlou, son of Mohammad Ali, has been sentenced to Moharebeh and death by Judge Abolqasem Salavati. Salavati is the head of Branch 15 of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court. His father had earlier rejected the accusations, “I am a war veteran and fought for eight years. I suffer from neuropsychological illness when hit by a chemical wave. As a result, my son now has a bipolar disease. Do not execute my son.”
