The Iranian regime is trying to hide the problems that its economy is in through the publication of false statistics, with the Central Bank on Iran (CBI) governor Abdolnasser Hemmati recently trying to present a rosy future, but infighting amongst the mullahs has led to the revelation of these lies.

Request by Fatemeh Davand to be released with leg tags turned down
The Prosecutor of Bukan turned down the request by Fatemeh Davand to be released with an electronic leg tag. Fatemeh Davand is serving her sentence in the Central Prison of Urmia and the prison authorities had agreed with her request to be freed with an electronic leg tag.
Mrs. Davand, 42, and mother of three children, was arrested on November 16, 2019, during the protests in her hometown of Bukan against gasoline price hike.

Two Austrian-Iranian citizens who are held in Evin Prison have contracted the COVID-19
Kamran Ghaderi and Massoud Saheb, two Austrian-Iranian citizens who are held in Evin Prison have contracted the COVID-19. They have not been sent to a civic hospital and are quarantined in the prison for 14 days.

Shahab Javid who was executed on December 17, had committed suicide the night before

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on December 24, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 475 cities had exceeded 191,000. The number of victims in Tehran is 46,926, Isfahan 11,360, Lorestan 7,708, Qom 7,490, East Azerbaijan 7,402, Fars 5,842, Alborz 5,035, Sistan and Baluchestan 4,686, Kerman 4,121, Kermanshah 4,036, Central Province 3,988, Yazd 3,387, Kurdistan 3,291, Semnan 2,894, Ilam 1,975, Bushehr 1,919, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 1,500.

Soheil Arabi arraigned with trumped up charges in Shahr-e Rey Courthouse
Prisoner of conscience Soheil Arabi was arraigned with new charges through a video conference by Branch 8 of Shahr-e Rey Courthouse on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.
As a punishment, Mr. Arabi was relocated from the Great Tehran Penitentiary to Rajaishahr Prison on September 18 this year. He was held in solitary confinement for 33 days and subsequently transferred to Ward 2A of Evin Prison. Finally, on November 8, 2020, he was sent back to Rajaishahr Prison.
