The Iranian Diplomat, Assadollah Assadi, is on trial following his intent to blow up a rally in France of a prominent opposition group. Bob Blackman MP is among many other lawmakers who has signed a statement calling for a change to the European diplomatic stance toward Iran.
Recently, a group of 240 lawmakers, including some 50 from the UK, issued a statement calling for a dramatic change in European diplomatic posture toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 470 Cities Exceeds 189,300
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Monday, December 21, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 470 cities had exceeded 189,300. The number of victims, in Tehran is 46,486, Khorasan Razavi 12,995, Isfahan 11,185, Khuzestan 9,725, West Azerbaijan 7,128, Gilan 6,756, Fars 5,772, Golestan 4,687, Hamedan 4.550, Kerman 4,029, Kermanshah 3,996, Kurdistan 3,261, Semnan 2,859, Ardabil 2,312, Zanjan 1,970, Ilam 1,955, Bushehr 1,904, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 1,470.

New warden of Qarchak Prison threatens political prisoners with new attacks
Soghra Khodadadi, the new warden of Qarchak Prison, has threatened to attack political prisoners in this prison, again.
On Sunday, December 13, the anti-riot guards in Qarchak Prison accompanying Soghra Khodadadi raided political prisoners in Ward 8 of Qarchak Prison. They beat them up with stun guns and batons and abandoned them in the ward without any medical care. The prisoners all had bruises, and some had pain in the chest because of the guards’ beatings.

Baluchi prisoner executed in Central Prison of Zahedan without Proof of Crime
After eight years of imprisonment and while his crime had not been proven in court, a Baluchi prisoner was executed in the Central Prison of Zahedan.
On Sunday, December 20, 2020, a Baluchi prisoner by the name of Abdol-Basset Khesht was hanged in the Central Prison of Zahedan, capital of the southeastern Sistan and Baluchistan Province. Abdol-Basset, son of Pir-Mohammad, came from the village of Banest in Konarak County.
