Tehran’s Nuclear Chief Reiterates Regime’s Grievances about NCRI’s Nuclear Revelations
Mohammad Eslami, the head of the regime’s Atomic Energy Organization, responded to statements of the IAEA Chief Rafael Grossi while showing frustration about NCRI’s nuclear revelations in the last two decades.
Eslami said: “We do not expect from the Director General of the Agency to follow the uproar created by counter-revolutionary groups against Iran’s nuclear program. These people have been fueling this (crisis) for more than 20 years. It is certain that if the JCPOA has one objective, it is to pass and lay to rest those accusations that have been raised against the country for 20 years, and this is nothing new.”
Eslami emphasized: “The alleged cases, alleged locations, and alleged documents are fabricated and paid for to be used against the revolution and they have been answered many times. If this is to be used as political leverage, it will not go anywhere. In fact, they did agree on the JCPOA and then abandoned it.”
On August 22, in an interview with CNN, Raphael Grossi once again stressed that the IAEA will “in no way” back down from its demand that the Iranian regime shall provide answers regarding the origin of many undeclared uranium traces in several sites and that it shall provide access to requested locations and personnel.
"Dropping probes is not something the IAEA does or will ever do without a proper process. The key to this lies on a very simple thing. Will Iran cooperate with us?" @IAEAorg DG @rafaelmgrossi tells me after Russia's lead negotiator said the issue "seems to be settled." pic.twitter.com/ySrRL38q69
