Monthly Report March 2021 – exile of women political prisoners, executions
The Persian New Year, Nowruz, started on March 20, 2021. Nevertheless, on the eve of the New Year and in months when all Iranians were preparing to celebrate Nowruz, the clerical regime in Iran stepped up the execution of women and exile of women political prisoners. This inhuman measure in violation of the prisoners’ rights ruined the New Year celebrations for their families, too.

Coronavirus Disaster in 533 Cities in Iran Takes the Lives of 242,700 People
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Saturday, April 3, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 533 cities across Iran had exceeded 242,700. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 55,976, Isfahan 15,805, Khorasan Razavi 15,665, Khuzestan 14,324, Mazandaran 10,350, Lorestan 10,248, East Azerbaijan 9,683, West Azerbaijan 9,103, Qom 8,725, Gilan 8,511, Fars 7,117, Golestan 6,260, Sistan and Baluchestan 5,611, Kerman 5,364, Central Province 5,038, Semnan 4,230, Qazvin 2,754, and Ilam 2,481.

Two Baha’i women jailed and five more summoned to serve their sentences
Two Baha’i women were transferred to the Prison of Bandar Abbas on Saturday, April 3, 2021, to serve their sentences.
The Revolutionary Court of Bandar Abbas sentenced Maral Rasti and Mahnaz Jan-Nesar to 2 years in prison, each, on the charge of “assembly and collusion against national security.”
The two Baha’i women had been initially arrested in spring 2017 along with six other Baha’i citizens but were later released temporarily on bail.
Iran’s Honeytrap for Ali Javanmardi in Iraq
“A court in the Iraqi Kurdish-state of Erbil sentenced Samira Morad-Pour, a female terrorist of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), to five years in prison for attempting to assassinate Ali Javanmardi, Iranian journalist with the U.S. citizenship on Tuesday, March 30,” wrote Avatoday.net directed by Javanmardi on the same day.
