Based partially on reporting by PMOI (MEK) Network in Iran

Sunday, April 2, 2023 – 8 PM GMT + 1

Iran’s nationwide uprising marked its 199th day, on Sunday, as night rallies against the mullahs’ regime spread once again across numerous districts of Tehran and other cities with people voicing their hatred of the ruling dictatorship through anti-regime slogans. In Sistan and Baluchistan Province, people were protesting the regime’s attacks against fuel porters, leaving them dead on the road in their vehicles.

MEK supporters marched and chanted anti-regime slogans in the city of Kermanshah, western Iran, on Sunday. Their slogans included:
“Down with the oppressor, be it the Shah or [Khamenei]!”
“The world should know that [Massoud] Rajavi is our leader!”
“The National Liberation Army of Iran is our final response!”
“We swear on the blood of our compatriots that we stand to the very end!”

Last night in Tehran, the residents of the Sa’adat Abad district chanted anti-regime slogans, including: “Down with Khamenei!” Elsewhere in the capital, residents chanted, “Down with the child-killing regime!” “We won’t have a nation as long as the mullahs are in power!” Locals in the Seyed Khandan district began chanting anti-regime slogans, including: “Down with Khamenei, the murderer!”

Newly-obtained video clips show that members of MEK-affiliated Resistance Units in the Iranian capital, Tehran, portrayed a large image of Iranian Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition coalition NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi on Imam Ali Expressway at 10:45 pm, Friday night.

In Bandar Anzali, one of the most important cities for tourism, economics, and athletics located in Caspian sea shores North of Iran, locals celebrated the traditional Sizdeh Be Dar day at the end of the Iranian New Year vacation. The regime’s suppressive forces who wanted to stop the festivity were kicked out by the people.

Remembering Ghazaleh Chelabi, Security Forces Stifle Her Commemoration

Amol City Security Council prevented the Nowruz memorial ceremony for Ghazaleh Chelabi. During Nowruz, the Persian New Year holiday, the people of Iran came together to pay tribute to the protesters who lost their lives during the 2022-2023 nationwide uprising. They visited the graves of these brave souls to honor their memories, pay their respects, and recommit themselves to the path of freedom these protesters had embarked upon.

However, the families of the martyrs and their communities were met with hostility from security forces, who not only threatened and pressured them into silence but also prevented them from holding commemoration ceremonies for their loved ones.
