Iranian Regime’s Minister Disrespected By Azerbaijani President
In a humiliating confrontation, the President of Azerbaijan refused to meet in person with the Iranian regime’s Minister of Roads and Urban Developments.
According to state-run newspaper Asr Iran on January 27, Rostam Ghasemi had traveled to Baku to talk to Azerbaijani officials but since the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliof, refused to meet with him in person, the meeting was conducted virtually.
The incident soon gained traction on Persian-language social media, with users questioning Rostam Ghasemi why he needed to travel all the way to Baku if the meeting was going to be virtual anyway?

Calls for Justice in Iran Continue to Echo in Sweden
Following the global litigation campaign for the massacre of political prisoners in Iran and calls for holding the highest officials in Tehran to account for genocide, crimes against humanity, and the increasing executions in Iran, supporters of the Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MEK) held a rally in Stockholm, Sweden on Thursday, January 27.

Regional Leaders Condemn Houthi Attacks on Abu Dhabi
During a regional meeting in Abu Dhabi, the leaders of Egypt, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates condemned the attacks carried out by Iranian regime-backed Houthi militants.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, King Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President of the UAE, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, met in UAE’s capital. During the meeting, the Egyptian President stressed that there is a close link between Egyptian and the UAE national security. He reiterated his country’s support for the security and stability of the UAE.
Ambassador Bassam Razi, the official spokesman for the Egyptian presidency, said that al-Sisi renewed the solidarity of the Egyptian government and people with the United Arab Emirates regarding the recent terrorist attacks that targeted Abu Dhabi, killing and injuring a number of civilians. He stressed Egypt’s condemnation of any terrorist act by Houthi militias backed by the Iranian regime in order to target the stability and security of the UAE and its citizens and stressed Cairo’s support for any UAE actions to counter terrorism.

Surveillance Cameras in Shiraz Destroyed with Shotguns
The Chief Police in Shiraz, central Iran, said that in recent days, people have destroyed a number of security CCTV cameras on Afarinesh Boulevard in Shiraz using shotguns.
On Tuesday, January 25, the official news agency IRNA quoted the head of the police forces of Shiraz as saying: “The arrest of a person or persons who have attempted to destroy the CCTV cameras is on our agenda. In recent days, an unknown person or persons with unknown purposes have attempted to destroy a number of CCTV cameras on Afarinesh Boulevard in Shiraz. This person or persons have committed an act of sabotage by using shotguns.”
The Iranian regime security forces systematically use CCTV cameras for surveillance against political activism. In recent uprisings, protesters have continued to damage and destroy all surveillance apparatus in order to prevent the regime’s intelligence agencies to identify the protesters and activists.

FBI Classifies Iranian Regime’s Entity as Continuous Threat
The FBI issued a statement on Wednesday, January 26, announcing that on October 20 of this year, a jury of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York indicted two Iranian nationals employed by Emennet Pasargad (formerly known as Eeleyanet Gostar) for computer intrusion, computer fraud, voter intimidation, interstate threats, and conspiracy offenses for their alleged participation in a multi-faceted campaign aimed at influencing and interfering with the 2020 US Presidential Election.

Women in Iran’s Explosive Society
“As we speak there are around five million single mothers across Iran; 52 percent lack any insurance and pensions. Furthermore, 38 percent are considered among the society’s lower third; 19 percent, meaning around one million people, are not receiving any support at all.”
These were the words of Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, speaker of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) during Tuesday’s January 25th session, causing grave concerns among regime officials. During the same session, the head of the Majlis’ Social Committee acknowledged the prevalence of “increasing concerns among single mothers, widows, and single women.”
Hidden Mafia Behind the Nepotism in Iran’s Regime
The four-decade-long dolling out government posts to relatives, family members, and people close to the ruling elite is one of the most hotly debated issues in Iran’s state-controlled media. One of the most disputed cases was that of Saeed Mohammad, the former head of one of the most corrupt economic powerhouses, the Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters which belongs to the regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Ebrahim Raisi appointed him as the advisor to the President on Free Trade-Industrial and Special Economic Zones. In that position, Mohammad is engaged in buying and selling oil, money laundering, and other past corrupt businesses.
Iran’s 40 Year Legacy of Executing Athletes
In stark contrast to developed countries where athletes are honored, their situation in Iran is way below the minimum international standards. The Iranian regime ruling Iran mistreats, arrests, and executes Iranian athletes. In the regime’s dark record of human rights violations, there are numerous cases of executing athletes and national champions. No regime in human history has committed such a horrific crime against its national heroes and athletes.
