Iran’s State Media: Eggs and Poultry’s Already High Prices Will Skyrocket

The Price of Poultry in Iran Rises Above 120,000 Rials

On Saturday, the state-run Mosalas website reported that “it is expected that by removing the official exchange rate of 42000 rials for one dollar the price of an egg container will reach 90000 rials and poultry’s price will be more than 80000 per kg.”

It is worth noting that the price of red meat has also increased and is expected to skyrocket due to the regime’s decisions to remove the official exchange, which is used to import essential goods.

Flash Floods Severely Damage Iran Southern Provinces

Heavy rainfall and floods in Hormozgan and Sistan and Baluchistan provinces have caused extensive damages due to cities’ ruined infrastructures and the regime’s negligence to take precautionary measures.

In the cities of Bandar Abbas and Bashagard, due to rain and wind and the fall of 12 electricity poles, 30 villages lost electricity. Seasonal rivers flowing and flooding cut off the communication route from Bashagard to Jask and Bashagard to Minab. Due to the flooding of the Sharifi River, the communication route between Jask and Bashagard cities was blocked.

In Konarak in southern Sistan and Baluchestan, roads are flooded. Besides more than 500 homes are flooded. The flood has damaged the infrastructure and left hundreds of families homeless.

Raisi Acknowledged to At Least 50-years of Unfinished Projects in Iran, Warn Officials

On Friday, the Iranian regime’s president, Ebrahim Raisi, acknowledged that there are “50 years’ worth of unfinished projects in the country.”

“These unfinished projects are very bad. If we show weakness, the [people’s] lack of trust seriously damages our most important security and power criteria. The enemy is looking for such an incident,” he added.

Khamenei Representative Endorse and Encourages Forced TV Confessions

Mohammad Bagher Laini, the representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, in Sari, praised the mullahs’ criminal judiciary, endorsing and encouraging forced TV confessions.

“Following the 2009 sedition [uprising], they [regime officials] brought the elements of this sedition to TV to confess to their crimes. Their confessions shed light on many issues. This was the Jihad of Enlightenment,” He said.

“They brought 5 or 6 of those corrupted seditionists, and there were very good interviews [confessions]. Unfortunately, I don’t know what caused this very good program to end. We want this [forced TV confessions] to happen today, it is a very good thing,” he added.

Iran: Coronavirus Fatalities Surpass 493,900

Over 493,900 people have died of the novel coronavirus in 547 cities checkered across all of Iran’s 31 provinces, according to reports tallied by the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) as of Friday afternoon local time, December 31. The official death toll declared by the regime stands at 131,606, around a fourth of the actual figure.
