Iran Nuclear Talks Resume in Vienna as Tensions Run High
World powers are reconvening for talks in Vienna over Iran’s controversial nuclear program. This is the 8th round of talks this year, the second since Ebrahim Raisi’s cabinet took office in Tehran US and E3—France, Germany, and the UK—accused Iran of taking maximalist positions in the last round US officials warned that if Iran continues this stance, a return to the 2015 nuclear deal might not be viable in near future If talks fail, US and E3 are likely to convene an emergency IAEA board session by late December to pass a censure resolution against Iran, US officials say More sanctions on Iran could follow, and possibly snapback sanctions at UN Security Council.

Reports by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) indicate there have been a number of protests across the country by people from all walks of life.

MEK Supporters Hold Protest in Belgium, Urging EU Leaders to Curb Iran’s Terrorism
On Thursday, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the Iranian opposition Mujahedin-e Khalq organization rallied against the mullahs’ terrorism as a court hears appeals of convicted accomplices of Tehran’s jailed diplomat-terrorist Assadollah Assadi.
Assadi was arrested in 2018 along with three other operatives when they attempted to bomb the Iranian Resistance’s rally in Paris.

Iran: Teachers Hold Protest In Qom
On Thursday, Iranian teachers held a protest rally in the city of Qom, near Tehran.
Teachers are seeking answers to their long-raised demands of low wages and poor living conditions. They demand higher wages and voice their economic woes.
In a video from this protest, the girl talking says both her parents are teachers and explains her family’s economic grievances.

Belgian Committee of Parliamentarians and Mayors for a Democratic Iran, Supported the Protests in Isfahan and Other Cities in Iran for Water Crisis
“As long as the mullahs remain in power, poverty, unemployment, and disease will increase every day in Iran. Because the government denies people basic needs like water, electricity, bread, affordable housing, and vaccines, and instead invests heavily in regional terror and its missile program,” the statement reads in a part.
Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll Exceeds 486,400
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, that the COVID-19 death toll in 547 cities has reached 486,400. In Tehran, the death toll has passed 113,905, Isfahan 33,410, Khuzestan 29,490, West Azerbaijan 18,313, Fars 18,200, Mazandaran 17,730, East Azerbaijan 16,773, Sistan and Baluchestan 13,460, Hormozgan 8,075, Qazvin 5,624, and Zanjan 4,630.
