Iranian Security Forces Killed Her Son—Now They’re Preventing Her From Visiting His Grave

During the November 2019 protests, Iranian security forces shot and killed more than 1,500 protesters. Among them was 19-year-old Amir Hossein Zarezadeh. Now, the regime is threatening his mother, Zahra Parvini, to prevent her from holding ceremonies at his grave. But for the brave mother, who has lost her dear son, the regime’s threats are no longer effective. “You want to kill me? Iran’s regime Deliberately Poisons Iranians

Air pollution in Tehran, the capital of Iran

There has been severe air pollution in Tehran and other metropolitan cities of Iran due to the regime’s use of illegal fuel oil in power plants.

“We used to sell this fuel to the UAE. But the UAE did not buy it from us after realizing that the sulfur in our fuel was 7 times more than the world standard. So we had to keep the fuel oil and use it,” the state-run Ghatreh website quoted Ismail Kahrom, an environmental expert on Thursday.

“The real root of Tehran’s air pollution is the authorities’ negligence. They have not taken any action in the last 10 months to address this problem,” he added.

 

Iran: The Government’s Budget Planners Are Turning the Crisis Into a Social Explosion

On Thursday, the state-run Jomhuri-e Eslami acknowledged the regime’s 2022-2023 budget will create a crisis.

“Many economists believe this budget is like a dagger in the heart of Iran’s economy and people. Let’s not forget these people are crushed under pressure and have lost their patience,” Jomhurie Eslami wrote.

The article also warned that budget planners of the Raisi government are “turning the crisis into a social explosion.”

Iran: Coronavirus Fatalities Surpass 493,600

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Thursday, December 30, 2021, that the Coronavirus fatalities in 547 cities have surpassed 493,600. In Tehran, the number of victims has reached 115,420, Isfahan 34,130, Khorasan Razavi 39,850, Fars 18,630, Kermanshah 9,224, Hormozgan 8,160, Ardabil 6,255, Qazvin 5,779, Zanjan 4,730, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 3,729.
