Iran: Former MP Acknowledges People’s Hatred Toward the Regime

Locals in Shadegan, southwest Iran, held a rally and protested the unsafe conditions of their roads and regime officials’ refusal to take any measures in this regard. Anti-riot units were dispatched to the scene. Reports show around 2000 protesters.

State Media: Millions of Iranians Can’t Afford Basic Goods
“Most people can’t afford basic goods necessary for healthy living, such as meat,” state-run daily Mardom Salari warns. “The consumption of these goods is at its lowest level in recent years,” the daily added.
Mardom Salari added that the increase in prices and inflation has severely affected people’s lives “The quality of life for many people is at the lowest possible level,” Mardom Salari warns.
