EU Must Hold Iran Accountable for Human Rights Abuses and Terrorism
On Saturday, the Iranian regime executed an Iranian, who had refugee status in France, which prompted several European countries to withdraw from a planned business summit with Iran and the European Union to write a statement condemning the crime.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Sunday, December 20, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 470 cities had exceeded 188,700. The number of victims in Tehran is 46,346, Isfahan 11,135, Khuzestan 9,700, Lorestan 7,623, Qom 7,405, East Azerbaijan 7,342, Mazandaran 7,072, Fars 5,742, Alborz 4,980, Sistan and Baluchistan 4,621, Kerman 4,009, Central Province 3,938, Yazd 3,337, North Khorasan 2,918, Hormozgan 1,995, Qazvin 1,947, and South Khorasan 1,761.

Harsh, painful conditions in the Central Prison of Tabriz, NW Iran
The Central Prison of Tabriz is located on the crossroads of Rahnamaii Ave. towards Kouy-e Vali Asr. It stands next to the Justice Department of East Azerbaijan. The Central Prison of Tabriz is the largest prison in this province.
Contrary to the claims by Judiciary and Prisons officials, there are not clean wards in this prison. Prison authorities distribute narcotic drugs among addicted inmates through their agents from 8.30 a.m. until midnight. They include B2 tablets, LSD pills and Methadone.

12 inmates executed in just one week; Iran steps up executions
A total of 12 inmates were executed in the week spanning from December 12 to 19. Two prisoners by the names of Behnam and Shoaib Rigi were executed at dawn on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in the Prison of Zahedan, in Sistan and Baluchistan Province. Shahab Javid was executed on Thursday, December 17, in the Central Prison of Qom. Rasoul Ferdows was executed on Thursday, December 17, in the Prison of Boroujerd. Mohammad Moradi, was hanged on Thursday, December 17, in the Central Prison of Saqqez, in Kurdistan Province.

Shoaib & Behnam Rigi & two others whose names have not yet been disclosed were executed Saturday in a prison Zahedan, SE Iran. Their lifeless bodies were transferred for burial after execution on Saturday December, 19.

Five Baha’i women in Mashhad sentenced to five years in prison
The 35th Branch of the Revision Court of Razavi Khorasan Province upheld a total of five years in prison for five Baha’i women living in Mashhad, the province’s capital.
The Baha’i citizens are accused of “propaganda against the state through proselytizing Baha’ism.” The court informed the five Baha’i women of their verdicts on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
