Iran: The Staggering Coronavirus Death Toll Exceeds 352,600
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Sunday, August 8, 2021, that the Coronavirus fatalities in 547 cities had exceeded 352,600. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 82,646, Isfahan 23,810, Khuzestan 22,301,Khorasan Razavi 21,545, Mazandaran 13,655, East Azerbaijan 13,613, West Azerbaijan 12,738, Fars 12,152, Gilan 11,401, Qom 10,385, Alborz 10,323, Sistan and Baluchestan 10,295, Kerman 8,823, Golestan 8,325, Kermanshah 6,508, Yazd 6,162, Hormozgan 6,070, Ardabil 4,265, Bushehr 4,054, Qazvin 3,984, and South Khorasan 3,276.

Iran: MEK Resistance Units Call for Regime Change After Raisi’s Presidential Inauguration
With the Iranian regime’s new president Ebrahim Raisi taking office on Thursday, the mullahs are trying to intensify repression in the society. Despite that, the internal network of the Iranian opposition movement the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) bravely carried out its anti-regime activities against all risks. During last week, the network of the MEK inside Iran, known as the Iranian Resistance Units, has organized a vast campaign in various cities across the country, calling for regime change.
Man Killed by Military Forces in NW Iran Protest Gathering
A man was killed in Naqadeh northwestern Iran after military forces opened fire in a protest gathering yesterday. According to the Human Rights News Agency, the man killed was identified as 27-year-old Mohammad Alizadeh. Military forces opened fire, shot pellet guns, and used tear gas to disperse the crowds. Citizens had gathered outside the Police Station Number 11 building.

Part of the Iranian regime’s disinformation campaign, which is led by its intelligence ministry, is that the regime’s main opposition group known as the People’s Mojahedin of Iran (MEK/PMOI) has no public support and is hated by most of the people and is recognized as a terror group by them because it has killed more than 17,500 ‘innocent’ people.
Political Prisoner Soheil Arabi Sentenced to Two More Years Behind Bars
Political prisoner Soheil Arabi has been sentenced to two more years behind bars. Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran has sentenced Soheil Arabi, a political prisoner held in Rajai Shahr Prison, to two years in prison and 5 million tomans fine for “spreading propaganda with the intention of disturbing the public opinion.” According to the indictment, as additional punishment, Mr. Arabi must get permission for the duration of two years from a judicial authority to travel abroad, must present himself to court seasonally for two years and his cellphone will be confiscated.
Iran Increases Executions in July 2021
At least 48 executions in July 2021 depict the abysmal human rights situation in Iran. The number of executions has increased after the presidential elections of June 18. Iranian authorities executed at least 48 people in July bringing the total number of executions from the beginning of 2021 to 192. Of these, only five have been reported by the state media.

Four political prisoners in Qarchak Prison threatened to death
Reports indicate that interrogators in Qarchak Prison have threatened to death, four political prisoners affiliated with the main Iranian opposition, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
