Ruzbeh Alamdari, the editor-in-chief of the Jamaran website affiliated with the so-called “reformist” faction inside the regime, criticized state television for deleting footage of Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of former Supreme Leader, and cutting off live broadcasting during his speech when the new cabinet was visiting Khomeini’s grave.

Alamdari wrote in Jamaran.news: “The state media boycotted Hassan Khomeini’s speech at the ceremony, even though his words were only a piece of advice underlining unity and the need to support the new government. They not only cut off the live broadcast of the ceremony during the Imam’s grandson’s speech but also while covering the news, there was no mention of these unifying words whatsoever.”
