Iran: Mohsen Rezaei acknowledges mullahs care nothing for welfare of people

NCRI – A presidential candidate of the Iranian regime’s sham election has branded Iran is as a police state where rulers care nothing for the population’s welfare.

Mohsen Rezaei – the former commander of Revolutionary Guards – launched the startling tirade against his own country in an interview with state-run newspaper Etemad.

He said: “After Imam Khomeini died, everyone felt good for the first four or five years, but now 20 years on, we are riddled with political disputes.

“These political debates between former officials have also damaged the government.

“The politicians are negligent about people’s lives. They only care about their own jobs and have left the people to fend for themselves.”
