Official Figures Show Humiliating Defeat for Khamenei Despite Iran Election Fraud

NCRI

NCRI logoBased on official figures announced by the government, Khamenei has suffered a humiliating defeat, despite all the fraud and ballot rigging

  • The votes of the Assembly of Experts in Tehran are a third of the previous votes; the first person’s vote is 8.3 and the last person’s vote is 5.7 for eligible voters.
  • In some provinces, the number of invalid votes was as high as 30%.

Despite all the astronomical fraud and ballot rigging, the stagnation of the regime’s show election was so poorly attended that according to the figures provided by the regime’s Ministry of Interior, the first person’s vote of Assembly of Experts in Tehran (836706 votes) is 36% of the first person’s vote of the Assembly of Experts in Tehran in the 2016 elections with 2301492 votes, and the last person’s vote in Tehran (576409 votes) is 43% of the last person’s vote in 2016 with 1321130 votes.

The first person’s vote of the Assembly of Experts in Tehran is officially only 8.3% of the eligible voters in Tehran province (according to the figures announced by the head of the provincial election headquarters, 10030191 people), and the sixteenth person is only 5.7% of the eligible voters.

Although the regime has so far refrained from announcing invalid votes in its March 1 show elections, the announced statistics in some provinces indicate the widespread dimensions of invalid votes. According to the announced statistics, out of 801997 votes collected in Gilan province, 236676 votes, i.e. about 30%, are invalid. The votes of three out of the four people who have made it to the Assembly of Experts are less than the invalid votes. In Yazd province, out of 371833 votes collected, 82524 votes, i.e. 22%, are invalid. The invalid votes of the Assembly of Experts in Semnan province are 24% and in Bushehr province, 22%.
