Iran: Coronavirus Update, Over 87,300 Deaths, August 12, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI-MEK) announced this afternoon, August 12, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 87,300 in 373 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 21,740 in Tehran, 6388 in Khorasan Razavi, 6042 in Khuzestan, 4099 in Mazandaran, 3828 in Isfahan, 3677 in Gilan, 2500 in East Azerbaijan, 1090 in Semnan, 1050 in Bushehr, 1043 in Markazi (Central), 1025 in Ardabil, 990 in Yazd, 821 in Zanjan, 736 Qazvin, 690 in Ilam, 577 in Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari, 485 in Kohgiluyeh & Boyer Ahmed, and 444 in South Khorasan. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.
