NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF Aug 9, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced this afternoon, Aug 9, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 85,500 in 373 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 5932 in Khuzestan, 3994 in Mazandaran, 3607 in Gilan, 3482 in Lorestan, 2696 in Sistan and Baluchistan, 2332 in Golestan, 2090 in Kermanshah, 1749 in Kurdestan, 1287 in North Khorasan, 1030 in Bushehr, 811 in Zanjan. 680 in Ilam, 567 in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.
