NCRI – Sadegh Zibakalam, the professor at Tehran University and affiliated with Rafsanjani and Rouhani, in a serious dispute revealed the crimes of Bashar al-Assad and stated: “in the last few years, Assad killed the Palestinians more than the Israelis.”
The Al-Arabiya Persian News on November 18th 2016 reported that Sadegh Zibakalam in an interview with responded to a question about his refrain from trampling the two flags of America and Israel and said:” the Israeli flag is trampled for the sake of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli regime or because of the oppression they are suffering from. Well, at the last count we see that how many Palestinians have been killed by the Syrian regime since the Syrian civil war has started.”
Sadegh Zibakalam added:”when the Syrian civil war broke out, the camp of Yarmouk was surrounded by the Syrian army. More than one hundred thousand Palestinians lived in this camp and the calamity stroke them.
At the last count, many Palestinians have been killed over the past few years. Believe it or not, the figure is devastating. I don’t assume that the Israelis killed the Palestinians as much as the Syrian regime does. If we have to trample a flag for the reason of oppression and killing, then many flags shall be trampled; from England and the US to Syria, Russia and even Iran.”
He also talked about the people’s reaction to his attempt of not trampling the two flags of US and Israel and said:”if I tell you how people acclaimed my act, you will not believe that. The students, youths of the 80s and 90s praised me a lot. The more interesting point is that many of those who acclaimed were the youths who were born in the 80s and 90s, i.e. they are those who had been brainwashed that America is our enemy and the enemy of humanity and Islam.”
