NCRI – Britain will refuse to attend the swearing-in of Hassan Rouhani despite being invited by the Iranian regime.
The Foreign Office said: “The EU position is that local embassies may send representatives. As the UK does not have an embassy in Tehran we will not attend.”
The Foreign Office has confirmed it will not even send a junior diplomat, Evening Standard reported. Representatives did attend both inaugurations of his predecessor, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
