Tehran youth celebrate huge resistance gathering in Taverny

NCRI – A number of young supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in southern Tehran have issued a statement praising the huge gathering of Iranian Resistance sympathizers in Taverny near Paris, France, and have called other youths to participate in protests marking the July 1999 student uprising. The statement reads, “We, a group of youths in souther Tehran, praise the magnificent and effective gathering of June 26 and declarae our support for the just positions of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi.

We also call on the Iranian nation to create a proud moment in the history of the uprising by extensively participating in the protests marking the July 8, 1999 student uprising. We, the youths of Iran, will not rest until we obtain what we poured into the streets for. Our demand is freedom which will not be obtained unless the mullahs’ regime is overthrown. We shall meet on July 8.”
