Saudi-led coalition prevent Iranian plane landing in Sanaa Airport

The Saudi-led coalition prevented an Iranian plane from landing in Sanaa International Airport on Friday, Saba news agency, reported.

The news agency citing a source in Yemen reported that the Iranian regime applied for landing permission on Thursday, but that application was denied.

Sanaa International Airport is being controlled by Houthi rebels that are funded and armed by the Iranian regime.

Since the start of the Operation Decisive Storm, the Saudi-led coalition contorls the Yemeni skies, to prevent landing of any planes carrying weapons for Houthis.

The Iranian regime’s foreign ministry summoned the Saudi charge d’affaires on Friday to protest Riyadh’s interception of two planes Tehran had sent to Yemen, state-run ISNA news agency reported.
ISNA said two Iranian cargo planes had been forced by Saudi jets to leave Yemeni airspace, one on Thursday and another on Friday.
