• Iran Freedom Convention in Washington D.C

May 5, 2018 – Delegations from more than 40 US states gathered in the Iranian freedom convention in Washington D.C. which was held by the Organization of Iranian American communities in the United States.

The America’s Mayor, Rudy Giuliani took the stage as keynote speaker at the Iran Freedom Convention and expressed his support for the Iranian people and called for a Free Iran, he asked US media to go to Paris and participate in the Grand Gathering of the Iranian people this summer.

• Controversy -Tehran’s Troubled Municipality Gives $50 Million To Religious Propaganda

Tehran municipality has allocated more than 220 billion rials (roughly $50 million) budget to propagate “insight, culture and values” in the current Iranian fiscal year (ending March 20, 2019).

“Insight”, “culture” and “values” are vague terms typically used in the Islamic Republic to describe propaganda for the conservative version of Shi’ism.

According to “RoozArooz” (Day to Day) website, Tehran municipality has also allocated a separate budget to assist Shi’ite “religious societies and associations” in the capital.

Once again, an amateur camera registered the scene of the State Security Force and Guidance Patrol’s savage treatment of Iran’s women on the streets.

The Guidance Patrol stopped a young woman on Tehran’s Baradaran-e Mozaffar Street in Tehran and violently forced her into the partol’s van while she was demanding them to let her go.

Two weeks ago, the news of the Moral Security Police’s brutalizing of several young women, including an ailing woman, in a park in Tehran broke out, causing tremendous outrage among the public in Iran and the world.

• Saudi envoy: Houthi militia wants to impose Hezbollah-style regime in Yemen

Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed Al Jaber, said this week that the Houthi militia aims to impose a Hezbollah-style regime in the war-torn country.

During a meeting with the Arab Coalition’s Col. Turki al-Maliki in Vienna on Thursday, Al Jaber said elements of the Houthi militia supported by Iranian regime “do not make up even 1-3 percent of the Yemeni people” and yet they want to impose a regime similar to that of Lebanon’s Hezbollah. • US ambassador to Yemen: Houthi militia’s rule is barbaric

The US ambassador to Yemen, Matthew Toler, said that the rule of the Houthi militia of the areas controlled by them is a brutal and barbaric rule for the Yemeni people.

Toler said during an interview with the Egyptian newspaper Youm7 that the American side is witnessing daily violations of civil and human rights, accompanied by corrupt practices on a large scale by the Houthis.

He also criticized Iranian regime’s support of the Houthis as a party with arms, in the face of the legitimate government, and expressed his country’s deep concern about the targeting of the civilian population in Saudi Arabia, stating that these acts can only prolong the crisis.
