NCRI – Saudi Arabia’s government has backed a statement released by the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council, warning the Iranian regime once again to avoid meddling in the affairs of the Persian Gulf states.
According to the official Saudi news agency on Monday, the Saudi cabinet supported the move in a statement about the conclusion of the one-day extraordinary meeting of the foreign ministers.
The statement from Riyadh said, “The blatant meddling of the Iranian regime in the internal affairs of the GCC members through plots against their territorial integrity, encouragement of sectarianism and religious agitation overlooks the sovereignty of other countries, neighborly principles, international law and the charters of the United Nations and the Islamic Conference Organization.”
