Protesting Iraqis burn photos of Khamenei

NCRI – Anti-Maliki protesters in Iraq have burned photos of the Iranian regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in anger at the regime’s meddling in their nation’s affairs.

Demonstrators set light to large images of Ali Khamenei during marches in the cities of Tikrit and Fallujah on Friday as part of nationwide protests demanding that Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is ousted from power.

Across the country, millions of Iraqis have condemned the Iranian regime’s influence over their government and also demanded the urgent return of endangered Camp Liberty residents to Ashraf.

In Ramadi, protesters called for the Iranian regime’s terrorist Qods force to quit Iraq, while in al-Anbar province they claimed the interference in their affairs was being led by the regime’s ambassador in Baghdad.

In Samera, demonstrators blamed al-Maliki for attack on the protesters camp in the Amerieh district of Baghdad and said they branded the UN’s Special Representative Martin Kobler a supporter of al-Maliki and an accomplice in his crimes.
