Their joint letter states: “Based on news published in the media, the management and economic department of Sharif University of Technology is on the verge of closure for undefined reasons.
“Such hasty decisions that lack forethought and logic are very destructive.
“How is it that a college with more than a decade of history considered and considered by society as a valuable cultural and scientific asset is closed down without any logical reason.
“We the signatories of this letter demand that everyone engaged in suspending the activities of the college, and anyone who could prevent it happening, to take the necessary actions to overturn this decision.”
