President Abbas: Ahmadinejad has absolutely no right to interfere in Palestinian affairs

AbbasNCRI – The President of the Palestinian Authority says the Iranian regime’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has “absolutely no right to interfere in Palestinian affairs.”

“Ahmadinejad heads a government that I don’t quite know how it was formed and what the election process was. There have been many protests against his government,” Abbas said.

Mahmoud Abbas made the comments in reaction to Ahmadinejad’s provocative statements this week about the peace talks in Washington.

Ahmadinejad “would be better off dealing with [Iran’s] internal affairs. No one asked him to be the guide for the Palestinian people,” Abbas added in an interview with the al-Arabiya TV network.

“Ahmadinejad heads a government that I don’t quite know how it was formed and what the election process was. There have been many protests against his government,” Abbas said.
