NCRI – On Sunday, July 31, the regime’s governor in Ghasr-e Ghand, in Iran’s south-eastern Sistan and Baluchistan Province, announced that dozens of villages had become disconnected from the main road networks due to heavy rainfalls in the province.
Homeyra Rigi said: “Due to recent rainfalls, the rivers have blocked the connection of over 40 villages with the central city.”
Rigi added: “Yesterday evening, the rainfall in the northern highlands of Ghasr-e Ghand caused the seasonal flooding in Kaju River. The overflow of the river and its flooding disconnected the 40 villages of the central part as well as Sarbook from the central city.”
“At the moment the only route and road connection for these villages to the central city is through the river bed of Kaju. After the flood subsides, the people of these villages can use the riverbed as a route to go to the town of Nikshahr.”
Locals continually complain of lack of services provided in the impoverished province by the mullahs’ regime.
