• Protest Gathering Of Stockholders Of Esfandaqeh Chromite Mine Company In Kerman, Iran

On Sunday, May 6, 2018, about 100 stockholders of the Esfandaqeh Chromite Mine Company in Kerman, Iran gathered in front of the company’s workshop in the Abdasht region in protest to the uncertainty of their stock status.

Shareholders of the Esfandaqeh Chromite Mine Company said: “The Steel Pension Fund and Amir Mining Industrial Company, which own respectively 51 and 17 percent of the shares of this mine unit, do not pay attention to the demands of us workers, whom hold 32 percent of the company’s shares”.

The woman who was witness to the Guidance Patrols’ beating of a young woman in a park in Tehran, has been summoned repeatedly, interrogated and beaten up.

Ms. Hassanabadi, 47, witnessed the beating of Nastaran, a sick girl with a heart condition, by the Guidance Patrol. Ms. Hassanabadi was beaten herself.

She has been summoned repeatedly since that day to the notorious Vozara Detention Center, and beaten under interrogation.
